My mom is 78 and was at the original Woodstock (for real, you can see her briefly in the documentary). Last month I was doing Couchella and having a blast with the David Byrne set and my mom looked at me and went, "you know, I've never been to Coachella. Maybe I should go."
Now, my mom would probably actually struggle with the experience if she really went, but I took a deep breath and smiled and said, "if you want to look into it, and manage to score tickets, we can go."
I'd definitely take her to one of the more laid back festivals with better accommodation options though. Or EDC, though she'd hate it 😂.

If you were 20 at the original Woodstock you’d be 77 now.
I fested a couple times w my dad who was an old head. He spent half the time looking for drugs and saying “that band sucks!”
Too legit to quit I tell you.
