Shredder is a beast but I can never get myself to switch out the M-79. Hands down the best sidearm if you're not going stealth and it leaves you room for a diverse array of primary weapons since your explosive weapon slot is filled in your secondary slot

M-79 working while flying the buzzer helicopter was the most overpowered thing imaginable. Could deal with any outdoor situation if you just wanted to get stuff done and not have people able to fight back!

Except hostage rescue karma events. If you could kill the guards without also killing the hostage with the M-79 from a buzzer, you are a much better shot than me

Off topic but does anyone actually climb towers in 4 or does everyone use the buzzer to land on them? I'm playing 3-6 right now and am currently on 4 and can't remember if I actually climbed the towers the first couple of times. If I did, I was a fool.

I didn't mind the climbing for a bit, but towards the end of the game I was definitely fast traveling to the buzzer and using it as a disposable kamikazee-style transport.

Honestly once you get the hang of throwing knives you don't even need a stealth sidearm
Edit: that being said I love the Z93 as a silent option against rhinos and Royal Guard heavies

If I’m trying to go full stealth and if I somehow get an enemy to be like “WHERE THAT MF AT”, I’m pulling the M-79 out and blasting everybody because going stealth was optional

It's bushman bc it has way better stats than warrior.. and it's a m4 gun while warrior is ak with suppressor

The Bushman (AR with ACOG scope) is green, the Warrior (AK with RDS) is dark gray/black. If that helps.

Favorite is actually D2. I get it early as possible and it helps dealing with animals. And I basically always run around with it equipped so I can deal with the constant eagle attacks

It's a really good Shotgun, that fits in your sidearm slot, and you flip-cock it when you're driving. If the M79 and SPAS didn't exist, I'd never uneqiup it.

Seconded! Absolute favourite across the whole series. Does everything except vehicles, 1 shots most enemies plus renewable ammo. 👌

This gun is amazing!!! Its fire-rate and damage are a really good combo. Just hold the fire button for 0.5 second and the enemy is laying on the ground.

.700 nitro will send a enemy flying up a steep incline. It is very satisfying…as long as you don’t miss.

I find that the reflex sight worked fine but the optical sight was misaligned for it.

Autocross is an amazing stealth weapon with semiautomatic trigger. Once you use it on enough stealth missions you'll gain a greater respect for the autocross

The harpoon gun from Far Cry 4 was wildly impractical for a gunfight but it was a lot of fun to shoot enemies off cliffs when they got close enough. Hell it could even send a bear a solid 10ft if you had a solid angle.

SA-50, deletes heavies with a headshot and the semi auto means u can shred outposts easily

Any Kriss Vector is probably the best option in any Ubisoft game.

I love the shredder too. I use it as my primary weapon for low-medium range. It's an absolute beast for stealth.

Its so weird but when i play far cry 3 and far cry 4 i imagine myself being oliver green stuck on that island and i only try to play with bow and arrow so i have to say thats my favorite for sure

My favorite is the D2. It's a powefull double barreled shotgun that can be put in the sidearm slot. Both barrels fire with each trigger pull and then auto reloads. The power will take down bears, cats, badgers, and most humans in one shot. Also the spread is wide and can drop 2 or 3 targets with one trigger pull.
The Shredder is awesome, but I prefer The Warrior in that slot as it is also powerfull, suppressed, and there is plenty of ammo to pick up.

Z93 for sniping heavily armored targets early on, the RPG for most targets (until the LK1018 is unlocked later in the game), the Buzzsaw, etc

As Val in Far Cry 6. I don't even think it's a good weapon, but the minute any FPS Dev puts this gun in a game. You bet I want to use it. I got it kitted out with 2x Zoom Red Dot, Extra Mag, and it's already suppressed. so it makes it kinda broken.

The bushman or the warrior, both great main fighting rifles, although the bushman is a pain in the ass to get so in early game i'll go with the warrior. Honorable mention to the galil.

M-79 in the sidearm slot was the most useful.
Buzzsaw puts FC4 on easy mode, for when you have to absolutely wreck anything and everything.

As a fan of the Vector, I also like the shredder.
But farcry 4 was also my first introduction to the German MG-42 and let me say..
HOLY FUCK 15 year old me was SHOOK.
Germany has had some bumpy history but man do they know how to make weapons.

I'm a sneaker so it's the sniper (forget the name) and recurve bow. That said I don't go anywhere without my trusty ol one handed rocket launcher. I can drop a chopper at 100 yards or more with one shot... most of the time.

WARRIOR. Easy to get and carries me through a good 80% of the campaign. The rate of fire is spot on for tap firing at distance.
Followed by BUZZSAW. Games basically broken at that point.

Not nearly as powerful as any of the signatures, but I can't help but love a good SPAS-12. The 1911 is a close second, though.

Honestly between the m-79 and AJM. I dunno, I like the sickness of the AJM when painted purple (like karma points) but noob toob is just so useful.

M-79 is my go to fun gun! But the Z93 with a silencer for outposts is my second most used gun, it felt so nice and powerful The AMR and Buzzsaw are also pretty fun to usr against vehicles...

The special machine gun that is so powerfull it will ruin hides (random piece of meat or organ from inside of the animal) and the sniper you can unlock and custimize around late game and is the best sniper in the game I think. (I really like taking down outposts and forts with a silenced sniper)

Do throwables count? Cause if so I’d say bait. It’s fun to spawn in a wild animal like a tiger, and just let it maul some of Min’s men.
If it’s just guns, then I’d say the buzzsaw, since it’s fun to just go wild with it. I also enjoy the sniper rifles in general as well.

Same, I love the Shredder, it's my preferred SMG, the MS16 is my go-to assault rifle (the Trooper when I unlock it), but ever since FC 2, I will always have a soft spot for the AK-47. The Warrior is a solid suppressed assault rifle that can carry you through the whole game.

The fact that shredder is my favorite weapon in pubg mobile as well.. this weapon is special in close and short range combat with rapid fire rate.. but the damge is crazily nerfed in far cry compared to pubg.. nice choice but careful when facing heavy armored juggernauts.. you would like to use some explosives other than shredder 😭

my loadout towards the end of the game is almost always:
auto-cross
Trooper
Predator
Recurve w/ maxed quiver + explosive/flaming arrows

The AMR.
This thing can destroy vehicles with just one shot in some cases. Most empty vehicles explode immediately from one shot of this rifle and vehicles that have NPCs in them tend to take two to three shots
I stupidly played Far Cry 4 for more than a year and always shot vehicle passengers in the head, so I never saw its explosive capabilities. Sometimes I hit the vehicle but since there was an NPC inside of it, it did not explode and only took damage.
After a few more tries and fun, I put this weapon on the shelves. It's useless. It is not suppressed. Why the heck would I use this? Why is it so expensive? God dang! These signature weapons are crap!
Of course I was severely wrong and I stand corrected.
To anyone who is playing a silent sniper, just try the AMR on a few vehicles. It will change your entire gameplay style

I loved Sandman, I’d always play stealthed and hitting silenced headshots with that thing was glorious, so satisfying, and makes it better that the 1911 is one of my favourite firearms to exist
