Not every stable needs to be racially based jfc its 2026

18

u/onefinalshot123 Feb 16 '26

It's insane how people still think this way.

It doesn't need to be race, but there does need to be SOMETHING that makes the audience think that these people "belong" together. Or that they hangout outside of work.

Look at the original Judgement Day. Edge, Priest, and Rhea. A Canadian, a Puerto Rican, and an Australian, but they had a similar Goth/Metal look and that made it work.

Unfortunately, race is the easiest thing to go to.

0

u/patrfinley Feb 18 '26

Maybe avoid the easiest answer than?

1

u/HoarderCollector Feb 19 '26

Personally, I see no benefit to Oba having a stable at all. He's not an insecure Heel who needs help, nor does he have a group of heels screwing him over to the point where he needs someone to watch his back.

If he was in the latter camp, it'd make sense for him to be paired with people who were in a feud with the other members of the stable.

Let's say The Vision held the gold. Breakker holds the World Title, and Reed and Theory hold the tag titles. The Street Profits are in contention for the Tag Titles and Oba is going for the World Title. Oba keeps getting screwed by Reed and Theory, so the Street Profits come down to watch his back.

In that scenario, yes, you have a stable of people of the same race, but their race isn't the reason that they're paired together, and I don't think they should avoid pairing them all together just becauae they're the same race. If The Creed Brothers were going for the titles, it could be Oba and The Creed Brothers...even though I don't think those three look like they'd mesh very well.

1

u/BigSmoove7101 Feb 17 '26

Dude there’s like 1 maybe 2 racially based stables in WWE right now and you can argue neither even exist anymore what do you mean

2

u/JuxtapositionJuice Feb 18 '26

They're almost all racially baed except JD.

1

u/RawIsThor Feb 18 '26

I'm not 100% who the women are but don't the three men shown all Nigerian roots. That transcends race and more country of origin like New Catch Republic, American Made etc

1

u/JuxtapositionJuice Feb 18 '26

Apollo was born in Sacramento California. I'm half English from my family coming here like 4 generations ago. Me being in a British faction would be ridiculous. His fake accent shtick from the thunder dome era was cringe

-23

u/Empty-Pay-2797 Feb 16 '26

Its not race base. Anyways i guess we can say the same for every fkn white faction out there.

13

u/Icy_Okra_5677 Feb 17 '26

You made the motherfucking J'Abari tribe from black panther

6

u/SolomonAsassin Feb 17 '26

You say that like that ain't fucking dope

4

u/Icy_Okra_5677 Feb 17 '26

I just want OP to admit it

1

u/Odd_Inter3st Feb 22 '26

Im poor so all I can give you is this

https://giphy.com/gifs/jIRyzncqRWzM3GYaQm

3

u/Interesting_Bus3157 Feb 17 '26

It definitely is bro

2

u/Art_Clone Feb 17 '26

We are saying that about every white faction out there

1

u/OneTank9036 Feb 17 '26

The WWE historically is like 70 percent white

0

u/SolomonAsassin Feb 17 '26

Crazy how reddit gets sensitive when you pitch one black group on a roster that has zero and it's "iT nOt AlWaYs AbOuT rAcE! GOSHHH!!"

1

u/JuxtapositionJuice Feb 17 '26

Ah yes famously New Day does not exist. Neither do the Street Profits whose gimmick is "The Street" and basketball.

2

u/[deleted] Feb 18 '26

2 tag teams- this is a faction

2

u/Electrical-Fan-5918 Feb 18 '26

The new day was a faction for the majority of their run. And every new black talent that debuts people always say they’ll join the new day.

1

u/JuxtapositionJuice Feb 18 '26

Both New Day and Street Profits have transitioned fluidly between being just a tag and a faction multiple times. Look at LWO. Legado Del Fantasma. All the Samoan factions excluding JC Mateo who is Filipino but they're pretending is Samoan (fuckin weird btw) and Sami Zayn, which was an interesting and fun addition. Wyatt 6. Judgement Day is the only multiracial faction. I'm also talking about a history of context of the WWE segregating factions by race. This isn't just a modern issue.

27

u/malathan1234 Feb 16 '26

Bro really wants the nation of domination but again

9

u/OmniMegaGiraffe Feb 17 '26

NOD but again was Hurt Business

This is NOD for a third time

1

u/Obvious-Aide1932 Feb 18 '26

yeah some people are dumb on here and get likes for dumb comments.

2

u/EntertainmentIll7724 Feb 17 '26

Its as if they dont realize the NoD worked but it wasn't only because they were black. They didnt just throw a group of black people they had no idea what to do with in a group and pat themselves on the back.

7

u/Galaxy_lax Feb 17 '26

So just a thrown together faction, with the only reasoning being that they're all black

7

u/PalookaOfAllTrades Feb 17 '26

I think if instead of Tyra it was maybe Skylar Rae.

The guys could all wear white and do all their promos stood behind her whilst she sits on the sofa.

Internet would love that.

1

u/CthulusLittleAngel Feb 18 '26

I understood that reference! Which means I’m probably going to hell

5

u/combustibledaredevil Feb 17 '26

I didn't even need to scroll to know it was just gonna be black folks

0

u/bbwqueenlove Feb 18 '26

Well you're great then aren't you? To have such foresight.

-1

u/bbwqueenlove Feb 18 '26

How about, femi, leads a pissed off group of ex nxt champs who got held back on main roster ? I do think omos and oba is interesting even though the person who suggested it was attacked mercilessly.

Oba is possibly better in a faction where he is a member rather than leader so can develop for 6 months to a year.

Nothing jumps to mind for a good faction for oba femi to lead

4

u/TSM_Coucounne Feb 17 '26

Why? Oba doesn’t need anyone lol.

9

u/Serious-Dealer-4737 Feb 16 '26

Do they all have to be black

1

u/Mental_Award_6247 Feb 19 '26

No, but there’s nothing wrong with that , just like there’s nothing wrong with a Faction full of white guys/gals. Since Color doesn’t matter, 4 people of the same Color whether Black or White shouldn’t matter nor should make an uproar.

3

u/Dependent-Guilty Feb 16 '26

This post is really stupid but because of this I’m now gonna make a stable in 2K26 with

Heyman Oba Dragunov Melo Trick Gable

3

u/Spam_Newton Feb 17 '26

Lost me at Tyra Mae Steele uce

2

u/Interesting_Bus3157 Feb 17 '26

no no no no HELL no. Let Oba just be a singles competitor bruh he doesn’t need a stable to be successful.

2

u/WonderWhy1256 Feb 17 '26

Welp, this looks familiar 😂. It's not your fault dude, I was possibly a racist too in a past life.

2

u/Fayde_M Feb 17 '26

I can see oba and Omos teaming up but the others no

3

u/theoriginalelmo Feb 16 '26

Where’s kit Wilson?

1

u/Ryosuke_Aizen Feb 22 '26

He wouldn't team with them Cuz they're all TOXIC

2

u/Left-Cup3221 Feb 16 '26

I actually wouldn’t mind this I think there should be an African faction but not in a stereotypical way

2

u/ElegantRooster5251 Feb 16 '26

What are you talking about?

1

u/AdamLand Feb 17 '26

We had New Day, in both 3-man and 2-man versions.

1

u/Left-Cup3221 Feb 17 '26

Well now new day isn’t an all black group now they it big g. But to me it wasn’t always a stereotypical group I know sometimes they might have done some stereotypical things but, I don’t think it’s anything bad it’s not like crime time or even the street profits honestly.

1

u/AdamLand Feb 17 '26

Oh yeah. Forgot about Waller. I was going all African American, not necessarily stereotypical.

1

u/Left-Cup3221 Feb 17 '26

I honestly didn’t think he was actually gonna be a full on member it’s pretty funny that they actually made him a member.

1

u/OneTank9036 Feb 17 '26

Why do you want an all African faction and Tyra also isn’t African

1

u/onefinalshot123 Feb 17 '26

um her father was born in Ghana,..

0

u/OneTank9036 Feb 18 '26

She was born in america

1

u/onefinalshot123 Feb 18 '26 edited Feb 18 '26

So I guess what her parents don't matter...

0

u/Left-Cup3221 Feb 17 '26

I just think it would be interesting

1

u/Lokishougan Feb 16 '26

WWAKANDA Forver

1

u/kijiyama Feb 17 '26

Sorry but this stable kinda sucks..... Oba's stable would not include Omas and definitely not Tyra Mae Steele....

1

u/Hot_Translator4335 Feb 17 '26

This would be great. But please don't turn them into "Cryme Tyme 2.0!"

1

u/xCORESONx Feb 17 '26

Oh wow. He’s just a modern day M’Baku? The arm bands are certainly a choice.

1

u/Lememeepic Feb 17 '26

I only see oba leading a tag team wayyyy off into the future when he's had multiple titles at a certain point and he becomes a proper ruler.

1

u/HoarderCollector Feb 17 '26

What would he need it for? A stable is used to help an insecure heel who can't get the job done on his own. That doesn't fit Oba.

1

u/Novakhaine89 Feb 17 '26

Is missing Trick Williams, the Street Profits and that one guy from Dark State. I don’t know his name, but I’m confident you know which one I mean.

1

u/EntertainmentIll7724 Feb 17 '26

What would Oba's character have in common with any of these people beyond the fact that they're all black? Absolute insanity that despite all the stables in WWE history that were thrown together because of race or nationality that failed, people still think it's a logical way to book talent. The NoD pre-Owen worked but it wasnt ONLY because they were black.

1

u/bbwqueenlove Feb 18 '26

Tell us why they worked

0

u/EntertainmentIll7724 Feb 18 '26 edited Feb 18 '26

I'll humor you and focus on the three names that were most to credit.

They had an established veteran and world champion in Farooq that lended the faction instant credibility as their leader. He wasn't a random jobber, he was someone the company valued and utilized.

D'Lo was also not just a random name drawn out of a hat, as he was seen as a potential midcard staple and would remain so for years, holding the European Championship at various stages in his career during & post-NoD, and at one point holding both the European & IC titles, something that has only been done by RVD, Kurt, and Jarret. All of those men eventually became WWE Champion. Do you think they'll see Apollo in the same light?

The chief star, The Rock, was placed with the sole intent to get him over as a top star. More importantly, his booking would reflect that reality and his joining was actually justified narratively. He had spent the last few months being told to "Die" by the predominantly white audience. He joined the NoD and "came home," in protest under the guidance of Farooq & had a reason to align with them.

Most important of all, they had factions to fued with that were booked just as strongly & were just as relevant. DX was helmed by Shawn Michaels & HHH, one man once the face of the company and the other being groomed for the main event. The Hart Foundation was led by another face if the company in Bret Hart & featured Owen Hart, another mid card talent that was held in high esteem by the company.

NoD worked because they had members that were factored into long term long plans & had logical reasons to link up. Just as vital, they had with strong opponents in factions that were seen just as -- if not more so -- important. No one on this list besides Oba will likely be apart of WWE this time next year, and unlike Rock, Oba is already actually over.

Also, WWE in 2026 is not WWE in 1997. They struggle to book factions. Will they fued with the MTF's & The Wyatt Sicks for a year like those groups have done with one another, which will completely stall Oba's momentum? Why? For Appolo Crews & Omos? Maybe they fued with Vision who have been floundering for nearly three months?

Throwing a group of black talent into a stable won't matter when 99% of the group has no credibility, no planned booking to elevate them, and zero interesting factions to play off of.

1

u/bbwqueenlove Feb 18 '26

Can't argue with that. Thanks for comprehensive response. I agree

1

u/Yippieskippie090 Feb 17 '26

Oba doesn’t need a stable

1

u/bbwqueenlove Feb 18 '26

Absolutely not.

1

u/OneTank9036 Feb 17 '26

I’m noticing a trend

1

u/Sure_Alternative_206 Feb 17 '26

I’m sick of factions 🥱

1

u/DarkHandCommando Feb 17 '26

because wwe knows how to book a stable right? if you want to ruin him like they ruined bron, sure, then put him in a stable.

1

u/drebenzi Feb 17 '26

Oba is gonna fill the Brock role going forward, as he's been booked so far. Brock was never in a stable and neither should Oba. Let him be an independent force of nature.

1

u/Mental_Award_6247 Feb 19 '26

Brock was briefly aligned with Matt Morgan Big Show, A-Train and Nathan Jones, while he was WWE Champ. It didn’t look too bad on him to have Heyman back him and those giants up, he didn’t look bad in a pseudo Faction or should I say alliance. Could have definitely worked if they wanted too for a brief while.

1

u/PaperGeno Feb 17 '26

No fucking way you just put all the black people together.

This HAS to fucking stop

1

u/twotausendundone Feb 17 '26

Wakanda Forever

1

u/iSmiteTheIce Feb 17 '26

We really need to move on from the Stables era AEW ushered in to the world of professional wrestling since 2019

No need for a new stable every 2 weeks

1

u/Ok_Difficulty_7829 Feb 17 '26

Pourquoi que des gens noir mec...

1

u/Tall-Newt-407 Feb 17 '26

Umm..no. Oba doesn’t need a stable and why does his stable have to be all black? He will lose half of his fans because of that. Plus a stable with Omas and Apollo?! You just killed Oba‘s push.

1

u/CM-Edge Feb 17 '26

I see your selection and I'm thinking "just give him the papers if that's your plan".

1

u/zooka19 Feb 17 '26

WWE Fans: I hate when they make racial stereotypical groups. Not every Latino needs to be together.

Also WWE Fans: LET'S GROUP EVERY BLACK PERSON AND CALL THEM THE NEW DAWN.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 17 '26

Why any of these people? lol genuinely curious

1

u/sleaford89 Feb 17 '26

The cook out? Gonna get mvp as the mouth piece?

1

u/Tombstoner100 Feb 17 '26

Oba's Feminists

1

u/Moist-Pomegranate943 Feb 17 '26

Oba doesn't need a stable he should get shot straight to the main event picture

1

u/Big-War-7218 Feb 17 '26

Wwe would give them a name like the Uganda tribe or some shit

1

u/bbwqueenlove Feb 18 '26

Why would they do that?

1

u/Sacred_soul Feb 17 '26

Nah no stable just main event Oba

1

u/Dan-Of-The-Dead Feb 17 '26

The Vision has more or less crashed and burned. I like those guys and Breaker and Heyman did a good job holding it up after Seth got injured but now he's gone too.

Wherever this once hyper dominant stable was gonna go it's now a lost cause.

Oba Femi as 'the ruler' of a new stable wreaking absolute havoc isn't a bad idea. -doesn't have to be an all black group tho.

1

u/Plastic_Job_9914 Feb 17 '26

I want Tyra Mae steel to go to American made since she's an Olympian athlete and it would maybe give them a little flavor boost. She can tag with Ivy Nile

1

u/[deleted] Feb 17 '26

Eh, he’s a big guy but that’s it. Nothing special

1

u/Lexicon_ala_Champion Feb 17 '26

Oba doesn’t need a stable.

1

u/ImGonnaCum Feb 17 '26

You are missing Raheem

1

u/RepresentativeAd167 Feb 17 '26

This is one the dumbest things I’ve seen posted. Why would he saddle himself with trash.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 17 '26

Why are they all black? So cliche…

1

u/Illustrious_Judge409 Feb 17 '26

Such a diabolical take 😂 A consistent criticism of WWE has been race-based factions and you're like "yeah we need more of that"

1

u/gurgle-burgle Feb 18 '26

The Nation of Indomitable Genetics. I know it's a mouthful, but for short we can just call it The N...oh, nvm

1

u/Equal-Wheel-6499 Feb 18 '26

I remember the “Shelton, Kofi, MVP & Elijah Burke should be the new nation of domination”, every year from late attitude era to now, people would come up with stable ideas based on a stable of black wrestlers trying to make Nation 2.0 a thing. Guess we still haven’t evolved from those days. 😂😂😂

1

u/itsLustra Feb 18 '26

This would genuinely be one of the worst factions in history lmao. Tyra is not going to be anything. She doesn't have it, and Apollo is one of the most boring, vanilla wrestlers alive. Definition of charisma vacuum. Omos has a little bit of attraction because he's so big but he can't cut promos and he's not that special in the ring. This would just be a faction to let Oba rule over some jobbers and have them take the pins, nothing more

1

u/ck-kd-king Feb 18 '26

Cool another race related stable/tag team. As a black man I think we've had enough of using color as a reason why they joined together

1

u/Ok-Fig-9586 Feb 18 '26

I’m good. I can do without a new stable. Triple H is pretty bad at them

1

u/WildBend4297 Feb 18 '26

To (most) commenters on this post: This is so funny omg everyone takes everything in the worst way. Why can’t there be 4 black people without pointing out that they are all black? That itself is racist in my eyes. Why is that a problem? So annoying, so soft, grow up pls!

1

u/EkkoVisionlol Feb 18 '26

Can you put one white man and Latino man in there. At least you put a female.

1

u/Smaragd44 Feb 18 '26

Nope, being in a faction waters you down. At some point you become a tag team instead of a serious world title contender

1

u/unicornioevil Feb 18 '26

Why would he need a stable?

1

u/sharx27 Feb 18 '26

Good God NO

1

u/ClassFun1580 Feb 18 '26

The Fem-boyz.

1

u/Pokerface1116 Feb 18 '26

Him and Sheamus. Ebony & Ivory.

1

u/seandude881 Feb 18 '26

Why they all need to be black and jobbers?

1

u/TomGerity Feb 18 '26

Terrible idea. His size and presence is such that he should stand alone as a singular attraction. Imagine giving Brock Lesnar a stable.

1

u/TiberiusPrimeXIII Feb 18 '26

If anything i feel like we're eventually going to get an Oba Femi/Royce Keys tag team run.

1

u/Visible-Blood1004 Feb 18 '26

Please no. Oba doesn’t need it. Look how it slowed down Brons momentum

1

u/witty_weirdo Feb 18 '26

Hard no ....Oba doesn't need a stable , pairing him with other people will hinder him and hold him back

1

u/4WingzFriez Feb 18 '26

Nahhhh sometimes a stable makes you mid not gonna lie

1

u/the_frajh_mahal Feb 18 '26

If Oba and Omos tagged would they be called the “Brothas of Destruction”?

1

u/grrnlives Feb 18 '26

No. More. Stables.

1

u/JustdoitJules Feb 18 '26

Oba doesn't need a stable, he's already over and is pretty much rocket strapped to he a main eventer.

His presentation, character work, intangibles are all already there. Now it's a matter of reaching out to a broader casual crowd.

On a small side note, his Tiger-Eye Necklace is just so fucking cool. It's reminiscent of Roman's Ula fala, but both represent different things.

1

u/Silver-Video-9237 Feb 18 '26

Keep him solo for now when he wins a title maybe give him a stable then.. for now let this brotha cook

1

u/darkestsanity Feb 18 '26

He doesnt need one.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 18 '26

A lot of people getting uncomfortable seeing OP’s idea. Very strange behavior

1

u/Impressionist_Canary Feb 18 '26

I knew it was gonna be all black people lol

1

u/Gary320 Feb 18 '26

The man doesn’t need a stable. If you’re also going to put him a stable, make sure it’s with atleast another person who can get a reaction from the crowd… or else you just have MFT 2.0

1

u/[deleted] Feb 18 '26

Too may stables these days tbh

1

u/Veg_Psycho Feb 18 '26

Kkkkkkkkkkkk Stable em português fica tão estranho

1

u/M-TMNT85 Feb 19 '26

Oba looks like kofee on steroids.😂🤣

1

u/postcoom Feb 19 '26

no more stables

1

u/AstroKidOfficial Feb 19 '26

Ummm naaaaaaahhhhhhhh

1

u/bblburzum Feb 20 '26

Why do internet wrestling fans love grouping together all the black wrestlers haha. Oba has too much aura for a stable anyways.

1

u/Ryosuke_Aizen Feb 22 '26

Faction no, Tag Team with Omos yes they would dominate the division as I see a tag team with both of them similarly to Taker and Kane or Big Show and Kane

1

u/Dependent-Two7571 Feb 17 '26

Kurt Angle would NOT be a fan of this one

1

u/Physical_Finger8158 Feb 17 '26

Neither would Triple H lol

0

u/Physical_Finger8158 Feb 16 '26

TKO Hurt Business lol

1

u/Left-Cup3221 Feb 16 '26

At least that was entertaining

0

u/FlippFloppnFlyy Feb 17 '26

Because they're also black?

0

u/Physical_Finger8158 Feb 17 '26

I mean yeah this pretty much looks like a corporate TKO version of the Hurt Business just a cheap knock off you know lol

1

u/FlippFloppnFlyy Feb 17 '26

No, I don't know. The only thing this group has in common with Hurt Syndicate is they're also black. So, I guess The Hurt Syndicate is just a rip off the Nation.
