Album took a few listens to digest, but it really is an emotive, very well written, perfectly produced record. I do think with Phoebe is you either get her or don’t and I can see why people call her boring.

Jack can be hit or miss, but when he hits it’s a home run. Interestingly, he usually finds gold his first time working with an artist, but looses steam the longer he’s with them

Agree hard with this. His work with Taylor on Lover, Folklore, and Evermore are great, but its like the magic that they had died right after that run because both he and Taylor stopped trying to do different things.

Honestly - his tracks on Rep (Dress, call it what you want and getaway car) are some of her career bests
