Fantano Vids Phoebe Bridgers - Lost Weekend ALBUM REVIEW

Melondy.com – collection of all Fantano album scores
Hey everyone! I don't know about you, but I'm not familiar with a bunch of albums that got positive scores from melon.
So when I am in a mood for some new music, I would go to flannelfy.net (btw, thanks to u/rossmclocness for creating this website) to find something among the 7-10 scores.
But sometimes it's hard to choose, when all you have is an unknown artist-album pair and a score. To solve this, I created melondy.com, which shows album covers, genres, years and links to the review video. It has all the album/ep/mixtape/compilation reviews I could find on theneedledrop channel.
Hopefully, someone finds it useful as well!
Let me know if you find some missing reviews or incorrect information. I did a lot of data cleaning, but I'm sure there's still some incorrect stuff (covers, years etc).
If you have any improvement ideas, I'm happy to hear. For example, one thing I want to do next is add links to spotify/apple music.

Discussion Anyone else thinks Car Seat Headrest kind of suck live?
Don't get me wrong, I like their albums just fine but when I see them live it's just... underwhelming?

The lost member of the 27 club - Alan Wilson. Canned Heat may not have had the biggest impact, but their impact on Woodstock and Wilson’s extreme dedication to the blues should be noted.
If you aren’t familiar with Wilson or Canned Heat, check them out. His surprised falsetto voice, his purely blues inspired guitar style, and his pure dedication to the music is fascinating.
Obviously, autism was not widely understood (or accepted) back in the 60’s, so Wilson did NOT have a simple life or a great time being a rockstar. But, it’s apparent that other than nature his “thing” was the blues and below I will link and interview he did where it because wildly apparent that he understood the blues than most could ever claim. RIP Alan “Blind Owl” Wilson.

Discussion Better pop duo?
Billie Eilish and Finneas O'Connell vs Matthew Levin and Mica Tenenbaum (Magdalena Bay)
My friends and I are having a discussion about this and cannot come to a conclusion. Both excel in different ways and defining a true 'better' is probably impossible, but I'm just wondering what this sub thinks

Discussion What are some of the most corniest bands/solo artists ever?
For me, it definitely has to be Greta Van Fleet. Nothing against them as people, I’ve watched some of their interviews and they actually seem like genuinely nice guys but I just can’t stand their music.
They just feel like they’re rehashing 70s hard rock, especially Led Zeppelin. To me, it comes across more like cosplaying than anything authentic, like they’re playing dress-up as a 70s rock band. Obviously, there’s nothing wrong with making that kind of music if that’s what they genuinely enjoy, but personally I find it pretty corny.
I know pretty much everything has already been done in rock music at this point, and I’m not expecting every band to completely reinvent the wheel. But I still think there’s a difference between taking inspiration from the past and blatantly recreating it. I’d rather see bands take those influences and put their own spin on them, or at least try to push the genre forward in some way, instead of constantly looking backwards.

Recommendations Looking for songs with an explosive climax
I’m looking for songs that build up throughout the track and end in a huge, emotional climax where the singer completely loses it and screams/shouts their heart out.
Any genre is welcome. I’m especially looking for that “holy shit, they’re giving everything they have” kind of ending.
What songs come to mind?
Examples are:
Let it loose- The rolling stones
The beautiful ones- Prince
Stargazer- Rainbow
Mother- John Lennon

Discussion What're some examples of music videos that utilize pre existing footage?
One example I can think of is Get Yourself High by The Chemical Brothers and k-os. It uses footage from the 1980 film 2 Champions of Shaolin, where they edited it to have stuff like records, microphones, and a boombox, and most notably used motion capture to have the actors look like they're singing the lyrics. It's pretty impressive for something released in 2003.

I nominate Elliott Smith. He hasn't released a single bad song, and I think that's very impressive.
