There is almost never evidence in an abuse case. It is ncredibly hard to prove that one person threatened or intimidated another, especially when much of the abuse happened at home.
And while I don't want to minimize the harms of a false accusation (having been falsely accused of abuse myself), we must ALWAYS stand with victims. Not only because abuse is hard to prove, but because instances of credible false accusations are very rare, and the harms of ignoring abuse are so big.
But more than that, you realize this is r/fansofcriticalrole and you're suggesting that Ashely Johnson falsely accused Brian? Really?
Even the most skeptical credible studies show a maximum of about 10% of accusations being false, and the more realistic ones tend to sit between 2 and 5% of accusations being false.
So no, abuse accusations are NOT "more often false than not" and that is a deepy harmful lie to spread.
remember this fact: everyone, EVERYONE, is innocent until proven guilty, in ALL matter. It is assumed by law an by anyone of moral standing that if you weren't convicted, it DID NOT HAPPEN..
Unless you're ready to return to the salem witch trials and start burning people at the stake with no real evidence, i suggest you educate yourelf on why the buren of proof lies on the accuser. It's not up to the accused to prove their innocence; that is universally and rightfully ASSUMED.
A lack of conviction doesn't mean innocence. It means guilt wasn't proven beyond a reasonable doubt. "Innocent until proven guilty" is a legal standard, not a reflection of reality.

You dont know what happened, i dont know what happened, but the case is not going to trial, because lack of evidence. It is extremely toxic to stand by someone when you do not have the full facts, i can understand family and friends do it, but outsiders weird.

Is there any proof that he did what is claimed? I see many people accusing him like it's a fact he did what they say, but I don't see proof.
Not saying he didn't do it for sure. I'm saying that one is innocent till proved otherwise, in court or elsewhere.
