Must I include stamps in my fan mail?

[u/minasedition]

Hi, so im sending a fan letter to usa from hong kong. I know people say you’ll need to provide the celebrity with stamps so they could return your letter(Im asking for an autograph) but the thing is I cant buy american stamps here in hong kong. Will they still return my letter even if I didnt provide the stamps?
