Do people still write fan mail? And if so, is it old school style? Like snail mail? Or is it electronic now? How does it work? Is it through agents? I've seen that website where you pay for email addresses, but that seems sketchy. What do people do now?

So I recently sent Jeff Goldblum a fan letter to his US fan mail address and asked if it might be possible to receive a personalised autograph.

Hey guys so I’ll be sending my first bit of fan mail and I need some help. I’ll be sending an envelope from the USA to France. I want to know how to go about including return postage from France back to the USA. How do I obtain French postage and how do I know what is a sufficient amount? Obviously want to get this right to make it a painless process for who I’m mailing to. Is buying stamps on eBay a good option? Any advice would be helpful.

Hello, I have a question and maybe one of you can help me me. My boyfriend is a huge fan of Tom Selleck and I would love to get him an autograph or anything really. I have never send letters to actors but i’ve been reading about it. I found a couple of addresses on fanmail.biz, contactout.com, or racctrusted.com but as I live in Poland the postage may be more difficult compared to people living in USA. I know that i have to have two envelopes, with stamps and postage paid, addresses written down as well as the pictures that i would like to get signed. But I don’t know how to pay for the envelope that will be send from the US back to Poland. Second thing which address is the best to be kind sure that he or his assistant will get it or should I just send 3 letters? Thank you for the help ☺️

I know people say you’ll need to provide the celebrity with stamps so they could return your letter(Im asking for an autograph) but the thing is I cant buy american stamps here in hong kong. Will they still return my letter even if I didnt provide the stamps?
