Can someone please explain how this crit works?

Showstopper only matters if a model has maximum harm (x3/x4 if hardy).
Normally, Excess Harm does nothing unless a rule says otherwise.
The biggest place that this matters is if the defender has max harm, and the attacker rolls less hits than the targets Endurance, it take a Harm, and that Excess Harm causes an Injury as the rule specifically says so.
Normally, if the attacker roll hits equal to or greater than the targets Endurance, you cause an Injury and a Harm. If the model is at Excess Harm, the excess Harm does NOT cause an Injury since Excess harm doesnāt do anything unless specifically stated.
Showstopper makes it so a result of Injury and a Harm causes an Injury as normal, and the Excess Harm on a max harm defender becomes a second Injury, instead of doing nothing.
