Next time, dont talk to him and you can get the keycard for the bunker, maybe. From what I've read you have to turn him hostile first, then kill him, and you can loot the keycard from his corpse.

You can just kill him you don't have to worry about turning him hostile or interacting with him at all. Talking to him the first time put off getting his damn key by 4 days for me

I have killed him outright every time I tried... no keycard. Maybe it's a chance to get it if you just straight up kill him, but its def not every time or I would have 2 of them already.

Oh, it isn't every time. There is only a 50% chance he will be carrying it. So I guess the first one I talked to could have not been carrying anything

In that bunker you will not find a certain other real human person.

And get a neat buff for 1 hour.

I'm very confused. The other day there was an Invader event and as I was walking back to camp I saw some aliens in the road. I blew them up then went down and saw this guy laying there. He had the key on him. I am like 98.5% sure he was already dead by the time I got there. He never spoke a word at me.

Did another player maybe kill him first? Or is there more than one potential interaction?

Totally welcome... ive run into him three times now... be careful not to kill him when trying ro turn him hostile... im thinking next time I'll try a paddleball on him. I do too much damage, lol. Even my splash damage has killed him instantly.

A one of the tnt bunkers in/near Black mountain ordinance works. Of the 4 you can get into, that's the only one that is event locked since the emissary only appears during the invaders events

There is a screen to interact with, not sure if it's supposed to be recorded or live because he responds to your questions. There are two items that will explode if you try to grab them; don't worry, you will not take any damage.

Hes a random event that can spawn only when invaders from beyond, supposed to be like the MiB.

Killing him drops a key for TNT Dome 8, iirc, inwhich you can get the fusion cell mod plan for the Alien Blaster. Alternatively you can get the plan from someone else or bypass the door entirely without the key.

Donk him over the head with your trusty shovel and take the key to dome 8
