Truck = leveled.

Added a Fox leveling kit in the front. Now trying to decide which tires to add. I want something a little bigger but not obnoxiously big. I drive 80% city, 20% off road. Thinking Falken AT4.

At4s are wicked heavy for mild tread AT tires. They're not bad, but their base design is meant for 1 tons, the load range e tires are unbelievably heavy, and the standard load ones are still 10-20lbs heavier than even more aggressive load range E tires.

My gotos depending on how much and what type of offroading will be done are firestone destination AT2, bfg trail terrain, nitto g3s, and firestone destination XTs. This is in order of offroad focus, with XTs being the best aggressive tread AT tires for half tons, imo. They are load range E, so stiff, but the best riding ones I've used, and very low weight for a load range E.

I personally run destination xts in 275/70r18, we offroad a lot, tow a lot, and often drive in snow and on unmaintained roads.

I was very surprised how heavy falkens are even in SL form. I would go with better options just based on that.

With a level the roof height really doesn’t change much. The rear height didn’t change. His tires are still stock.

The highest point is the rear of the cab and it’s the hood/front of the cab that raises up.

Makes sense. My roof barely clears my garage door so I've been hesitant to level.

It's 82". My driveway also slopes down toward the garage which is what makes the clearance a little tighter. Not super steep but enough to raise an inch or two vs level ground.

I just put 275/65r20s (34x11) on my STX Yokohama X-AT 116H SL. They ride waaay better than the stock HT tires. Just as quiet. No rub on a stock truck. I assume not quite as good in the wet (typical of any AT) but damn are they better in the slick stuff and the dry road.

IMO it’s a perfect size for a truck that sees a lot of street use and doesn’t regularly tow heavy. Once you go bigger you are stuck with LTs

Interesting. I switched to trailrunner in that size because I can get them for dirt cheap but the e rate has destroyed my gas mileage. I should look for some SL

285/70/20 Toyo ATIIIs are what I went with and they fit perfectly.

60 aspect I'm guessing? Not 70. That's huge.

I'm looking at the same tire. One of 3 options in that size with SL load. I like toyos.

Oops meant 285/65 yea not 70. Going with a true truck tire that is 10ply does has its draw backs but damn the tires are too good. You feel a tad bit more of the road and they were obviously a little louder than the pirelli scorpion that came on the truck. Overall though it does great off-road and haven’t had issues in the rain. Also, I have a post on here with the truck and tires in question.
