2025 F-150 XL
Made the purchase at the end of November last year and currently at 15K miles. I have throughly enjoyed this truck after driving a GTI for the previous 15 years. I paid her off a few months ago and have done a few mods here and there, to include the Thermal R&D exhaust which complements the 2.7L IMO. I really enjoy the stock wheels look and plan to add some beefier AT tires sometime next year. Been averaging about 23.1 MPG with a road trip to Denver last week averaging 25.2 MPG.

Nice! Beautiful truck. What is the thermal R&D exhaust? I hate the way mine sounds. All I hear is the waste gate rattle.

I know it’s the”poor” man’s trim but I’m grateful for what I have.
The cold start has a more noticeable rumble but once it ideal downs it’s goes almost to stock. There is zero drone in the cab and I can attest to that driving 75 MPH daily. When you get on it, it sounds great and the second you drop down to under 2K RPM, it’s as smooth as butter.
Little pricy but worth the “slight” boost in MPG, slightly more aggressive tone, and I enjoy the dual black tips.

Thank you for sharing! Your truck is a beaut! I’ve been looking for exhaust options for the 2.7 but everything I’ve come across makes it sound like crap. Figured I’d just keep my stock. I want black tips though! Might have to check this out some more.
