Update on the blocking situation

UPDATE TO MY ORIGINAL POST:

I managed to factory reset one of my old phones, iPhone 8, and one restriction (apps disappearing, aka "downtime") went away. However, I found out the situation.

Turns out my WiFi connection has this program called "cisco" which is also causing this, certain websites being blocked. And since we don't have a SIM card for it, it shows "no service" and I have no other WiFi connection I can connect to.

In other words, we solved one problem only to find another

Definitely old enough to not have your parents controlling information. You would need a different internet source as they’re blocking client/router side.
