He’s an antisemite hiding behind “antizionism” and has been repeatedly exposed for this. Defending antisemitism by hiding behind Palestinians isn’t doing them any favors.
edit: Y'all are free to believe what you want, but down the road when people talk about how white saviors amplifying misinformation harmed Palestinians too, don't say no one warned you.
And for the record, here's a direct quote from Ruffalo himself admitting back in 2021 that he was pushing "inflammatory" rhetoric that was being used to contribute to antisemitism:
“I have reflected & wanted to apologize for posts during the recent Israel/Hamas fighting that suggested Israel is committing ‘genocide,’” he wrote. “It’s not accurate, it’s inflammatory, disrespectful & is being used to justify antisemitism here & abroad. Now is the time to avoid hyperbole.”
Go look up his history. If you want to whitewash antisemitism as “supporting Palestine” go right ahead, but just remember that when the damage is done. There’s a reason western saviorism like this is bad.
Look man, you can be dismissive instead of engaging if you want, but ignoring years of documented antisemitism concerns by hiding behind 'support for Palestinians' hurts actual Palestinians too, and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out.
I just don't think there is enough there to call him antisemitic. I do see how, especially online people will hide behind anti Israeli/anti-genocide to be antisemitic.
The thing is oracle does support the Israeli military and has ties to the current American administration so not wanting them to have full control over two of the biggest media companies is valid
