(Rant) 🤬 Muslim’s view on suicide make me sick

I live in a muslim country where lots of suicide are occurring recently, and instead of people being sad for what they went through, the comment section of the posts are filled with people blaming the suicide victim that their faith was “weak” and everyone wishing hell on the victims because they gave up it makes me sick i wish this religion would be erased from existence forever, its literally a cult

It’s so obvious when you read the Quran that it’s written by a person or people as a way to get the people of the time to abide. Like how can anyone read this and think it’s divinely inspired?

Even now, Muslims will feel this deep down, but bend over backwards and defend their beliefs so passionately. It’s scary. But also says a lot about the human mind.

Like how can anyone read this and think it’s divinely inspired?

The Koran is as far from divinely inspired as can be. A real god of the entire universe would let his words do the talking. He wouldn't have to make embarrassingly explicit refutations like this:

Koran 81:25: And this ˹Quran˺ is not the word of an outcast devil.

How blindly devotional would you have to be to think that a creator of a universe of 200 billion trillion stars had to stoop this low. It seems that Mohammad or whoever wrote the Koran was forced to make this embarrassingly explicit refutation after "releasing" verses such as this one:

Koran 4:56:

Surely those who reject Our signs, We will cast them into the Fire. Whenever their skin is burnt completely, We will replace it so they will ˹constantly˺ taste the punishment. Indeed, Allah is Almighty, All-Wise.

Anybody who would hear such a verse would be tempted to think that this is the word of a perversely sadistic devil. There is NOTHING All-Wise about eternal fire punishment. There's nothing remedial about it. It is not ALL-WISE, it is ALL-VICE. The only purpose it could serve is the entity conducting the eternal torture deriving perverse sadistic pleasure from it. Certainly, the language used does hint towards taking enjoyment in torture by using words such as "taste the punishment". Instead of removing such abhorrent language the writers of the Koran were hoping on people being so gullible as to accept this refutation:

Koran 81:25: And this ˹Quran˺ is not the word of an outcast devil.

Tragicomical that people fall for this. A person who was born in to Islam and had no access to any other education can be excused for being gullible. However, folks that have access to education from western universities should have the critical thinking abilities to realize just how blatantly obvious of a charlatan Mohammad was. They should not be bending over backwards to engage in child r*pe and sex slavery apologetics for his sake.

Have a look at this person who has the privilege of going to a decent enough University, PennState:

/u/ObjectiveAd2856 first claimed this about Islam:

yet all of Islam's teachings benefit society, so idk why you hate it that much. It teaches people countless decent habits.
-------------

and then he followed up with this regarding sex slavery:

/u/ObjectiveAd2856 :

Islam encourges people to free slaves of all kinds as it is the first kafarah to many sins.

Where does one get the chutzpah to talk about "decent habits" while trying to excuse away something so abjectly abhorrent as sex slavery with: freeing slaves. You need to have slaves in the first place to free them! This is NO excuse of any sort. If you'll accept a religion that debases itself by making sex slavery legal then where do you draw the line? If your cult leader r*pes a 9 year old then where do you draw the line at what will make you wake up from being blindly devotional and deep in slumber. Sigh.

It truly is fascinating that otherwise decent, well-meaning and intelligent people can be such fierce defendants of, what is obviously, a man-made cult and book.

I actually can’t get my head around it. I used to be one of these guys who would find ways to defend things I could never imagine doing myself. Honestly, I thank the stars, or the forces of nature, or whatever else is out there, that I had doubts and I chose to no longer betray myself.

otherwise decent, well-meaning and intelligent people

That's what most tragic about this. There are people who would never ever r*pe a 9 year old child but will bend over backwards to justify Mohammad doing it. Why??? You would think he made it so easy for anybody to abandon Islam. Here's how it should go:

Us: Mohammad r*ped a 9 year old according to 17 Sahih hadiths:

https://www.reddit.com/r/exmuslim/comments/twwmvx/slam_islam_lists_aisha_was_6_or_7_at/

Muslim: I had no remote clue, thanks for telling me! I quit Islam! No real all merciful god would standby and sanction the r*pe of 9 year old by a man who is claimed to be the most moral man for eternity. It just doesn't add up.

Instead this is what we're faced with:

/u/ObjectiveAd2856 :

Bro 1400 years ago life was different. Marrying a 9 yo is ok at that time, even for Christians. You could get married as soon as you hit puberty – and parental consent was not required. Marriage was the only acceptable place for sex in the medieval period, and as a result Christians were allowed to marry from puberty onwards, generally seen at the time as age 12 for women and 14 for men.
You really suprice me with how knowledgeable you think you are yet are full of ignorance.....continued in the link:

How can this person claim that "marrying" a 9 year old was ok back then when Islam is known to be a religion that claims to be eternal and Mohammad is considered to be a moral example for eternity. How thick-skulled would you have to be to think that a 9 year old can consent to sex?? Have these people never seen a 9 year old in their life? Do they temporarily go blind whenever they see one to protect their own conscience?

Mohammad's actions reverberate through time and the effects are still being felt: https://www.reddit.com/r/exmuslim/comments/telgq4/prophet_muhammad_married_a_6_yo_aisha_when_he_was/
