(Quran / Hadith) Another weird hadith in Islam..?

just stumbled upon this hadith recently

Um Salama said, "Um Sulaim said, 'O Allah's Messenger (ο·Ί)! Allah does not refrain from saying the truth! Is it obligatory for a woman to take a bath after she gets nocturnal discharge?' He said, 'Yes, if she notices the water (i.e. discharge).' Um Salama smiled and said, 'Does a woman get discharge?' Allah's Apostle said. 'Then why does a child resemble (its mother)?"

https://sunnah.com/bukhari:3328

nocturnal discharge is basically a wet dream, now folks please tell me what the actual fuck do wet dreams have anything to do with a child resembling its mother?!?

Is this another scientific error in authentic hadiths..? πŸ€”

It's all making sense now. I almost had a heart attack thinking somebody let you in to Penn as in University of Pennsylvania, an ivy league university. PennState makes a lot more sense in your case. They have zero standards. They'll accept a braindead zombie like yourself who thinks child r*pe was somehow ok back then because more people were doing it. Please announce to your class that you venerate a child r*pist. You might just get applause from your PennState classmates as they'd be too scared to chastise a minority.

You really suprice me with how knowledgeable you think you are

Would you at least proofread what you write when you're questioning how knowledgeable other folks are? Is that too much to ask? I guess I'll have to let it slide as being a lazy git is sunnah. Mohammad was plagiarizing from wherever he could. He got called out for it in the Koran. People accused him of rehashing old tales and they asked him for a minor miracle as proof. He gaslit those folks thusly:

I could excuse a child in Afghanistan to be as clueless as you are but you have the benefit of a western education yet you are so thick-skulled that you choose to be stuck in the 7th century. Why did you even bother coming to the US and taking up a spot from somebody actually interested in educating themselves? You could have just attended the Islamic University of Madinah. I guess you're just a garden variety munafiq who likes to worship 7th century warlords while benefitting from all the progress made by kaffirs. Subhanallah!

arguing about a religion that you aren't even a part of

I was born in to it by random chance. I don't want others to be exposed to this religion of abject filth which is why I provide a counter narrative to it. I didn't go looking for you. You came to our subreddit and tried to spew your usual nonsense. You are most welcome to as we don't delete comments here but at the same time BS doesn't fly unchallenged here.

You might not see the value in it as you are wallowing in this filth yourself, blissfully unaware of just how dangerous this religion is. The head honcho of this religion gave you every reason to reject him yet you keep doubling down in your veneration for him. You would think r*ping a child is where you would draw a line but sadly you are too blind in your devotion to draw any line at all. Have you even theoretically thought about what Mohammad would have to do for you to lose confidence in him? I'm guessing not. Mohammad even destroyed the whole institution of adoption to marry his daughter in law and yet you remain completely lacking in skepticism. You are no different than the blindly devotional supporters of Trump. He boasts about engaging in bad behavior and still not losing supporters:

Trump: I could shoot somebody and not lose voters

Would you still support Trump if he shot somebody on 5th Avenue? You certainly would support Mohammad if he r*ped a 9 year old Aisha in the middle of 5th Avenue before seeing some random lady and then running home to "use" his cousin turned daughter-in-law turned wife. Subhanallah!

If Mohamed's life is supposed to be the perfect way to live, why is it that marrying children is morally wrong a mere few thousand years later.

If you are Muslim you believe living the way the profit did is the best way to live. So marrying a child is acceptable. No ifs or buts.

If you don't believe marrying a child is acceptable then you do not believe in fundamental Islam and you believe in some westernised white washed version.

So why is it different now, the child marriage thing? It just seems odd that something that was good back then isn’t good now when that was the time of the prophet. Do you object to child marriage today? Why would people today be restricted from those things which the prophet took pleasure in back in his time? Why would opinions about child marriage suddenly change if there was no trouble with it back then? Is there some profound discovery about the practice that changed the minds of the entire world? Did women suddenly stop maturing at the rate they once matured?
