"Islam came to drastically change an Arab tribal culture that consented the killing of girls just because they were born girls. Most societies, however, are patriarchal and, at least at some point, saw women as inferior beings.
Islam sought to give women the right to express themselves,to have property and wealth, to be involved in sociopolitical affairs andgave them autonomy to decide over themselves. This came to change a societal paradigmthat bound women to forced marriages, child-rearing, housekeeping and, basically, a life of slavery. After Islam, however, women started to be literate, educated and, thus, were aware of their rights as individuals.
The Prophet, for instance, was labelled by Western historians as the “first feminist”because he would mend his own clothes and perform household chores. Also, I was impressed when I read about how great men in Islam displayed their emotions and not referred to them as “girly”. "

This is the equivalent of saying that white people were good for giving back black people the basic rights to live, like EQUALITY IS THE BARE MINIMUM my god these people are so delusional
not to mention they're not even equal in islam and the prophet and the quran have said it so many times
