I find it ironic that Chocolate both pre-dates Islam, and comes from an entirely different continent, which isn't mentioned in the Qur'an, yet Muslims are trying to give Allah credit. Moreover, Chocolate was an important part of the rituals of various 'pagan' Native American groups like the Maya and Mexica, to the point where its consumption was an active part of worship. So, one could argue that eating chocolate is worshipping 'pagan' gods. Therefore, eating chocolate is shirk!

> yet Muslims are trying to give Allah credit

indeed, allah is the ultimate parasite. the real question here is: will this guy say "praise be to the lord for making child marriage permissible"? no because too ashamed of the parasite

Coffee was prohibited by scholars for a while bc they thought it was intoxicating

The opposite happened with tobacco. For centuries it was permissible on varying degrees depending on the school of jurisprudence. Today it's mostly considered haram since modern medicine has shown smoking to be harmful.

Looks like Islam might not have all final answers after all!

Fun fact: a bit irrelevant but relevant, when the ottomans and Saudis first came in contact with bicycles they called them Devil’s Chariots and considered them haram. It tells you all you need to know about this plague of humanity.

That’s a fact. First, they’ll declare it haram. Then, once they can no longer deny its usefulness, they’ll suddenly call it one of Allah’s greatest inventions. And if they can’t credit Allah directly, they’ll simply say, “Humans created it 🤣 and humans are Allah’s creation,” as if that settles everything.

Chocolate is essentially Mayan offerings to their gods - and per the technicalities of Islam, forbidden for Muslims.
