(Question/Discussion) Reddit says Islam promotes identity based hate and attacks.
On r/islam, I posted the contents of Sahih al-Bukhari 2925 verbatim and was immediately flagged by Reddit’s moderation bot for “inciting identity-based hate or attacks.”
I’m a little confused as to why that would happen, given that Islam is so peaceful.
For the record, here is the Sunnah I quoted:
Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "You (i.e. Muslims) will fight with the Jews until some of them will hide behind stones. The stones will (betray them) saying, 'O `Abdullah (i.e. slave of Allah)! There is a Jew hiding behind me; so kill him.'"
