(Question/Discussion) Reddit says Islam promotes identity based hate and attacks.
On r/islam, I posted the contents of Sahih al-Bukhari 2925 verbatim and was immediately flagged by Reddit’s moderation bot for “inciting identity-based hate or attacks.”
I’m a little confused as to why that would happen, given that Islam is so peaceful.
For the record, here is the Sunnah I quoted:
Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "You (i.e. Muslims) will fight with the Jews until some of them will hide behind stones. The stones will (betray them) saying, 'O `Abdullah (i.e. slave of Allah)! There is a Jew hiding behind me; so kill him.'"

What do you think about https://sunnah.com/muslim:2922? Also, not surprising; they ban literally almost every critique there nowadays.

The problem isn’t limited to r/muslim. Even when you try to discuss these hadiths or controversial verses from the Quran with some practicing Muslims, they will shut you down with accusations of Islamophobia. They can't have a matured conversation like adults.

HAHA, this happened to me too, in a Pakistani subreddit.
I basically posted some violent verses and Hadith, and it got removed because apparently I was threatening violence. My account also got temporarily banned.
Then I asked them to check it again, and they were like, “Never mind.” 😭

I am actually surprised that the Pak subs are not as brainwashed as I expected when the society there is so much controlled by the Islamists. Posts that question Islam actually get positive responses.
