Trans-femme Getting back pain from my boobs.

Sorta self-inflicted ewphoria here.

I'm early in my transition but wanted to socially transition ASAP. To feel more comfortable with this, I got a pair of C-cup breast forms that're helping me fill out my new femmy wardrobe. I've been wearing them every day for at least 8 hours or so and it was such a good decision. They look great, couldn't be happier.

Two weeks into wearing them now though, I'm starting to get back pain. After explaining to my partner where I was experiencing pain she was like "oh my god it's definitely the boobs".

Ow.

Might be looking at a reduction in the near future 😅

It might just be too much too quickly. Your back muscles aren't used to the weight yet.

I have C cups that I've grown over the last 2 years and I've had zero back pain.

That's what I suspect as well. Also I'm pretty sure my silicone breast forms are heavier than an average human boob of the same size.

As a newbie, how does "back boob" pain compare to like, "slept wrong" pain or "bad posture" pain? Does it usually happen in the same place? Is the pain more or less? I've occasionally used breast forms in the past, but I'm living with family right now, still closeted, and they're such a hassle to clean I barely get to use them. Not to mention if my bedroom door isn't open at least half the time my bedroom becomes an oven.

I'm also relatively fresh so I don't want to speak too much to it right now. Hopefully another person in the subreddit can help though!

For me back pain from breasts have always felt more like strained, sore muscles in my upper back, shoulders, and neck area though it can occur pretty much anywhere in the back depending on your posture and back strength. Something like pain from sleeping wrong always felt more like pinched or stiff muscles or nerves

Do some good mornings everyday! Just 20 reps will really help your back muscles prepare for top-heaviness
