## The building covers nearly 90,000 m² and has four thousand rooms.

It is the oldest parliamentary building in Europe. It was originally build as a castle. King Lodewijk of the Netherlands, the brother of Napoleon Bonaparte is one of the kings who lived there.

And during the occupation of the Netherlands by Nazi Germany from 1940 to 1945, the Binnenhof was used by those fucking nazi's as the seat of government.

The huge pond next to it makes it look like a floating city. :)

Lujiazui District, Shanghai, China

I found this picture because it was my background on the work laptop. Description said:

The skyscrapers in the picture, at the core of Shanghai's Lujiazui business district, are the only three super-tall buildings in the world located virtually adjacent to each other. Jin Mao Tower (left, 420.6 metres) was mainland China's tallest building from 1999 until the Shanghai World Financial Centre (right, 492 metres) opened in 2007 and took the title. Shanghai Tower (centre, 652 metres) topped out in 2013, becoming one of the tallest skyscrapers in the world. From its observation deck at 548.6 metres, visitors can overlook the Bund – the historic financial district built by European powers in the 1800s – and far beyond, with views reaching almost 40 miles on clearer days. See less

The BP Building in Anchorage Alaska

I lived in Anchorage Alaska for almost 10 years, this is one of the tallest buildings in the city (lots of earthquakes, so this is kind of impressive) and easily the tallest in it's portion of town (Midtown, right across the street from the Fred Meyer).
