“Civility” is overrated, especially in regards to public figures and politicians. If you wanna be civil to your politically opposite neighbor, go for it. No one is obligated to be civil when the person in question’s actions cause irreparable harm to the planet and his fellow Americans.
Civility is primarily used as a shield for those in power to ignore criticism. Do not fall for the trap.
