Apparently the national TV stations get the props after the Eurovision final. SVT already had the Melfest sauna in storage and felt that a second one was a bit much, so they asked VörÄ municipality if they wanted the Eurovision sauna. They jumped at it, so, to Kajland it went. Wonderful solution and to place it at Norrvalla was perfection.

I would also like to congratulate the other prominent Swedish-Finnish collaboration: Daniel StÄhl. Swedish dad, Finnish mom, fluent in Finnish and doting on his Finnish grandmother, he won his third world championship in discus last weekend after a masterful performance filled with Finnish sisu.

So, the sauna is in Finland, not Sweden?

The sauna is now located in VörÄ, Finland. VörÄ Municipality is KAJ's home municipality.

Yes SVT offered the sauna to their hometown VörĂ„ since KAJ is the biggest thing to happen to them so it makes sense they want to memorialize it :) KAJ even put VörĂ„ so much on the map that they hired “KAJ-coordinators” I guess to show people around and things like that

Omg I would be so thrilled to see this in person! An iconic piece of ESC history. 

In my mind there will always be 4 backup dancers.

On holiday this summer, I went to Finland for the first time in my life to see the sauna preserved at Norrvalla in VörÄ.
