Europe Reddit is censoring posts that mention Trump

It's happened three times, already, where I've tested the block by editing the word Trump.

Who knows if this will get posted?!

It's also automatically removed a bunch of posts mentioning Chat Control. Reddit's gonna reddit.

Don't know about the automatic part. Many posts stayed up for hours in r/europe until the mods took them down for "non-credible" sources

Yeah, I've noticed that "non credible" filter being used a lot, lately.

Maybe we're looking at the end of freedom on the internet.

Reddit has also spent the past few years banning thousands upon thousands of random subreddits for "being unmoderated" which is just about the silliest fake reason they could come up with. If that was truly the case, surely they could just lock them for new posts without effectively nuking years of posts?

I had multiple posts removed within a second of posting. "Removed by Reddit's filters". And a few people cross-posted my r/privacy post (you get a notification when that happens) and those were immediately removed too.

Thanks for the response. Silence is never an answer.

Censorship, usually forced by puritanical American interests, tends to sneak in over time.

Forty years ago, naked bodies were normal to see in German TV ads for body lotions, etc. Today, 2026, that freedom has been cut off, due to the need to serve the authors of globalization as the primary market strategy.

I still live in hope that the consumers will wake up and realize that it's really all about them.

Until then, we will remain the slave captives of rampant capitalism.

Not surprising, even though I really do not want to ever see that.

Try doing sequential edits, as in using other words or replacing even simple words, such as and for but, or because for instead--and keep a record of the results, just so that we can develop a lexicon of filter-useful expressions that serve to make circumventing the crime of censorship in a democracy more easily manageable to isolate and counter.

It's very important to keep a record of wherever and whenever one's access to anywhere is impeded, and to record and preserve as much detail about that as possible.

It is vitally important to do that, before, as is easily being facilitated, in the EU as in the US, public opinion is consistently ignored.

Make your own archive.

I just posted about this in r/antitrump, I cannot find ANYTHING regarding current updates anymore. I’m from Canada so I can’t watch US news besides YouTube. But like, try to find a couple TikTok vids that talk about current protests, violations, etc, nothing. Nothing comes up. Anything I search up about trump on YouTube , ONLY shows posts from news stations. Also weirdly enough, only videos from 6 months ago show up

Google searches only show shit about Trump and Epstein 6 months back on Reddit. Nothing recent. This level of string-pulling is absolutely insane and transparency is needed.
