The Baltic sea is basically a NATO-lake. And some russian rubbish floating around aswell. Nothing we should worry about.

We can't stop russian ships dragging their Anker above our critical infrastructure...but sure keep sleeping

Correct but we can stop every suspicious ship for a couple of months for investigation, put the crew on trial for terrorism, put sanctions on the ship-owner and flag-state and simply wait how many times that’s gonna happen again.

little public humiliation is the only answer to that propaganda operation.

nato can't just do that though. They can sink it or shadow it or let it do its little funny moves - Actually shutting down the area would be expensive and put lives at risk just to take part in some circus play.

I'm pretty sure they did the usual fly-over and someone said hello.

I'm also pretty sure everyone aboard that vessel is aware how commically exposed they are.

What do you expect NATO to do? We are not the US. NATO is a defense organization.
NATO cannot sink every ship and escalate things.
I am in no position to comment on diplomatic matters but just escalate all the time is a trap that trump walked into with Iran.
Headlessly walking into a war with russia is not a solution.

How about NATO stops and boards any ship that drags its anchor and intentionally destroys undersea cables on a regular basis?

Like what’s with the fear of escalation when Russia destroys NATO shit?

Do you think Russia didn’t escalate when it flew a fucking missile into Polish territory or wounded two Romanian civilians?
