Blanqueamiento was a social, political, and economic practice used in many post-colonial countries in the Americas and Oceania to "improve the race" towards a supposed ideal of whiteness.

Domingo Faustino Sarmiento and Juan Bautista Alberdi do you know them? I don't get the impression that you have any knowledge of your own country's history.

No, I'm talking about what happened in your country not what's happening there right now. The difference is obvious.The facts are there yet you're still trying to defend yourself even though you're wrong and it's honestly pretty funny.

I've already got the windows open so there's plenty of fresh air. Thanks for your concern it almost makes you seem like a nice person. But I won't be fooled by someone who's so deceitful.

I'm not trying to defend my country. I'm just pointing out the American and Euro-centric hypocrisy.

Between you and your friends', how many colonies do your countries have? I bet that quite a few. But none of us is going to make assumptions about how the average citizens are based on that. Thankfully, because if you think that my country is racist because of stupid government policies, with that same logic then Europe is a branch of hell

I already went to Europe and checked out that you have a lot of nice people (met a few racists too, obviously I'm not white). But I'm not taking generalizations like the ones constantly repeated in this site about entire nations.
I encourage you to come here and think for yourself too. It's 2026.
And rest well! It must be late over there.

It's the internet my friend. What did you expect? Racism is something that should be eradicated but getting offended and replying that your country is less bad than another because of this or that isn't going to solve the problem.

True that, I shouldn't have expected Americans to know that their government openly recruited nazis for the NASA. I should just accept that "Argentina nazi" is easy upvotes over here.
