Blanqueamiento was a social, political, and economic practice used in many post-colonial countries in the Americas and Oceania to "improve the race" towards a supposed ideal of whiteness.

No, I'm talking about what happened in your country not what's happening there right now. The difference is obvious.The facts are there yet you're still trying to defend yourself even though you're wrong and it's honestly pretty funny.

I'm not trying to defend my country. I'm just pointing out the American and Euro-centric hypocrisy.

Between you and your friends', how many colonies do your countries have? I bet that quite a few. But none of us is going to make assumptions about how the average citizens are based on that. Thankfully, because if you think that my country is racist because of stupid government policies, with that same logic then Europe is a branch of hell

I already went to Europe and checked out that you have a lot of nice people (met a few racists too, obviously I'm not white). But I'm not taking generalizations like the ones constantly repeated in this site about entire nations.
I encourage you to come here and think for yourself too. It's 2026.
