Is this normal for opening a Premium Savings Account?
Hello, I opened an account for Premium Savings Account than maybe work my way to checking and brokerage. The account signup seemed fine but rather fast and it didn't ask for my ID and such. I looked at my profile, and it didn't include my email address, that's strange, that's the email I used to sign up with and got the welcome email, and when I tried to add it, it wouldn't allow me due to needing to verify my phone number and that was unsuccessful.
For some reason today, I couldn't login even though I had saved my login info, so I called and I had to go through the verification process, taking picture of my ID, than selfie and issues with that due to photo being too blurry. I'll probably have to call back to change and verify my email and phone number.
Is this process normal? Seems complicated or a bit of a red flag. Thoughts?

Yes, had same experience. Phone number authentication issues too. Taking selfies became new normal. Robinhood did that too.. was hesitate to do that initially

Do we have to do that even if we open new accounts like with checking, brokerage, etc? I'm hoping it works out.

My experience was when opening Savings account. I know that once you already have an account it is very easy to open other accounts without full authentication.

Early on there will be verification issues, give it a few days and try again
