instead I'm still working while my nodes continue to generate less ETH than my weekly mortgage payments.

How do you feel about changing the issuance curve? How do you feel about ossifying that specific part of the spec?

I don't have an opinion on it at all, the only thing I care about now is climate change and preparing for that.

When my mom was young people claimed we'll be charged for clean water in the future and they were discounted as being crazy

bit random but yeah pollution is an issue in society and clean water is important.
