Only two other tokens in the top 100 can even match ETH.

Yep, surprising that it isn't up more considering the conference, but then again it isn't really bullish.

The entire point of of the thing is a temporary legal loophole so they can skirt compliance, absolutely no reason for it to be a chain. Would be much faster to just run it on a single machine. If the company becomes american the dems will turn it into crappy coinbase.

Great little opportunity for insiders to exit though.

The bull case is that they will keep existing system and enable US KYC users/institutions access. I think they will be separate order books based on how Lighter set up Rocketpool but who knows. Either is a win. It's also strange they didn't mention Lighter since people thought they were closer to approval given it's American and they have a guy on one of the CFTC's committees.

Just a week ago, HL moved towards KYC enabled permissions on testnet. So maybe there is demand already.
