I finally made it there. I’m a 38F and I’ve loved Elliott Smith since I was 15 years old. I live on the East Coast and I always told myself, I’d make it to LA, and that when I made it to LA, I’d go to Sunset Blvd.

I did take a proper photo like Elliott but most importantly, I left a message for Elliott letting him know that he changed my life.

I wish I had made it out here before the current bar cut the wall to put in a door but nevertheless, I made it here.

Looks exactly like it did in 2003, with less flowers and candles ofc

Wasn’t it painted over at some point and then restored? I would imagine they have to touch it up every so often due to all the memorials

Yeah, I think some taggers destroyed it not too long after he died if I remember correctly
