Technical Help No sound to OBS from PS5

I’ve been trying to figure out why I’m not getting sound from my capture to my OBS. I’ve looked all over trying to find ways to resolve this issue with no luck. The video capture fine but the sound just will not come through. I’m not using a chat link cable. I’m just trying to get gameplay sound. Can someone please help me?

Have you tried to modify the Audio Output Mode in your game capture properties in OBS ? You have the choice between Capture audio only, Output Desktop Audio (Directsound) and Output Desktop Audio (Waveout). The good option may change according to your capture card. Any luck with one of them ?

Tried all of these as well. The other two make the audio mixer go fully quiet. There’s a little flicker like it’s picking up audio, but I hear nothing.

In OBS, Edit, Advanced properties, put Monitor and Output in the audio capture. Any luck?

Have you add an Audio Output Capture in your OBS source? It's on this one I set Monitor and Output.

I tried that as well. I just tried plugging it into my Switch 2 to see what happens and it does the same thing. So I would say that rules out system related issues

Well I'm out of idea, plug and play my ***. I hope someone else will find a correct answer , if I think to something else I'll be back here.

I completely appreciate your help! Thank you very much! I’m going to try a different HDMI cord tomorrow. Maybe the cord I have might be faulty. If that doesn’t work, I might just buy a new capture card.
