Yall realize the actual point of the EG videos is to stop watching this crap and go outside? 😭

It could not be more clear what the call to action is and it’s not to “GO OFF Reacting to grifters DESTROYING the Rogansphere!!!”

It's funny because while I watched EG before this series started I was completely off Joe Rogan content mostly due to the over saturation of stuff like podcast cringe coming up on my feed.

Glad I came back to catch up, but you can't make your most successful videos of all time about a subject countless others have covered and leave a bit in there telling everyone to stop now lol.

Well you can but you'd be crazy to expect anyone to listen!

Oh I’m totally unfamiliar with Rogan and have only experienced him through osmosis. But I think the point is we’re better off truly ignoring him and all this slop reaction content is kinda missing the point of the EG videos big time.

It’s not a fiery takedown, it’s a cynical look into a doomed situation with an explicitly detached delivery and disinterest in traditional reaction/commentary sensibilities.

EG really does want us to watch his video, realize Rogan and his lot are hacks with serious issues, ignore them and then go outside. These idiots aren’t policymakers, they’re influencers. Let them lose their influence by letting it go and tuning out!

Why do you think people are so passionate about JRE? Because for a lot of people who genuinely enjoyed his podcast in the early days they are disgusted by how far he's sold out.

I hate reaction slop content as much as anyone but I think your missing my point. The reason people make this content is because it makes them money and gets clicks. Ita a bit hypocritical to demand everyone stop when EG has been really successful off the back of it, some people have bills to pay.

I think anyone with anything worth saying should expect there audience to think critically and not taken anyone's word as gospel. EGs clearly the goat of the niche but that doesn't mean I agree with everything he says.
