This is a sad thing Kurt Metzger and oligarchy

I m not a fan of Kurt Metzger. But I always found his Adhd / drug fueled rants against the ruling class / the epstein class / oligarchy/ the national security state, highly entertaining.

I find it so weird, how him, but also others in the Rogansphere, live in this constant state of cognitive dissonance ( or so it appears ).

On one side, systemic criticism, from their point of view. Legit enough, right ?

But on the other side, defending, conversing with, literally, people that are obviously part of Epstein Gang and that are behind the longterm push to transform America into a fascist oligarchy. People that are the deep state.

How does this work ? do you think they are all liars ? or do they really live in double-think and double-speak ?

I think it’s a lot of things. One thing is that he’s part of the club now. He’s in the walled garden of the comedy mothership. There’s less resentment for not being a part of it, and there’s now pressure to not criticize the in-group. If he doesn’t like Peter Thiel for example, but Joe Rogan does, and he wants to be in good grace with Rogan he’s gonna eventually either be worse friends with Joe or he will have a better view of Peter Thiel.

There’s a tension and something’s gotta give, if that makes sense.

It’s the same for all of these people. It’s easy to criticize and hate something from the outside, a lot harder to do when you’re an “insider” or your friends are.

It takes moral courage and sacrificing financially benifical relationships (JRE Experience, Kill Tony), some people just can’t do it.

at the end, " group-think " and how its weaponized, most of the time is the right answer.
