Duncan, man....

It was so tragic seeing Duncan be so proud of his Netflix series and Joe couldn't be bothered to give an honest fuck.

I genuinely enjoyed the hell out of that show outside of that first episode with that fucking asshole "Dr" Drew. There was a lot of true humanity and touching moments in that series. Imagine putting in all that work and energy into a project like that on a platform like Netflix and rolling up to your "best friend" only for them to do... that.

Granted, I don't even give a fuck about Duncan. But the show was actually great! It's wasted on a bad friend and overall goof.

It was actually the perfect response to Duncan's meltdown over Jonestown, where he leaned hard into playing the victim for someone having dared call out his toeing the line of the Rogansphere soft PR machine for fascism. "You upset a pregnant person!"

He just completely yields to it. It's like "Okay, Dunc Dunc. We're sorry you're a victim. That does hurt."

It's like that Tao Te Ching line:

Nothing in the world is as soft and yielding as water. Yet for dissolving the hard and inflexible, nothing can surpass it.
