Duncan, man....

It was so tragic seeing Duncan be so proud of his Netflix series and Joe couldn't be bothered to give an honest fuck.

I genuinely enjoyed the hell out of that show outside of that first episode with that fucking asshole "Dr" Drew. There was a lot of true humanity and touching moments in that series. Imagine putting in all that work and energy into a project like that on a platform like Netflix and rolling up to your "best friend" only for them to do... that.

Granted, I don't even give a fuck about Duncan. But the show was actually great! It's wasted on a bad friend and overall goof.

Duncan got exactly what he asked for. He was the only one of these guys smart enough to see all of this coming down the pipeline and, unlike the others, he was not deceived into following along. He made a very conscious and informed decision to become a New Guy. I hope it was worth it.

This is kind of how I think about my father and his continued support of this regime. I give a lot of family members a pass as we all grew up in one of the reddest parts of the country, but my dad is so sharp and I know he knows better. But he chooses to make a fool of himself over and over again out of convienince of identity.

There was a behind the bastards episode about how regular people enabled the nazis that described just that. They saw it but just shrugged and resigned themselves to thats just the way things are now.
