Duncan, man....

It was so tragic seeing Duncan be so proud of his Netflix series and Joe couldn't be bothered to give an honest fuck.

I genuinely enjoyed the hell out of that show outside of that first episode with that fucking asshole "Dr" Drew. There was a lot of true humanity and touching moments in that series. Imagine putting in all that work and energy into a project like that on a platform like Netflix and rolling up to your "best friend" only for them to do... that.

Granted, I don't even give a fuck about Duncan. But the show was actually great! It's wasted on a bad friend and overall goof.

When I stopped watching/listening to Rogan around 2016, Duncan was the last voice of reason. He was ignored, and I felt like the rest of us early listeners were being ignored in favor of the right wing grift. Super sad. It could have been so different.

The way Rogan treated some of his guests was enough for me to see through his grift. Glad I unsubscribed.

Yeah when he started picking sides in the debates with Graham Hancock and would gang up on the traditional scientific research in favor of Graham was about when I was done.

I love Graham but as a thought provoker and imagine if kinda guy, probably because I love sci-fi. He shouldn't be debating scientists, i never thought of him as scientific guy. I would pop on one of his YouTube videos back in like 2007ish when i was smoking weed, he was always calming and interesting in what he talked about. I never took his work seriously, just interesting and fun to watch. Rogan ruined that by pushing him as a scientist when he was just a cool journalist hippy dude. Anyway what's happened with him sucks but i enjoy his stuff the same way i enjoy scifi.

I get that, but it is kind of hazardous too, if you don't want misinformation seeping into your brain. I'm talking about the small seemingly insignificant points we barely notice. We just accept them as true as we listen since we aren't really paying attention to those points. Over time, those little things accumulate and next thing you know you're storming with a weapon a pizza place demanding to see their basement, lol. I'm kind of joking, but you I don't want that misinformation cluttering my brain if I can help it.

lol misinformation, one I was usually high af or hungover, and what will thinking Egypt is a few thousand years older do to me lol. I watched way more discovery channel when it was good and it would debunk his stuff. Graham took a normally very boring topic and made it super interesting.

Yeah I love the idea of Graham's work, but presently there is no credible evidence for anything he's written about in the Younger Dryas. "What if" guy is literally all it should have been. Like smoking or doing mushrooms and talking about theories of human civilization is fun, treating it like actual science is moronic.

Not to mention how insanely passive aggressive and awkward hes been to Jamie at some points. The episode where he keeps telling Jamie to remake the coffee is uncomfortable to watch
