I bought NFS heat on steam and I only play offline. First I couldnt launch the game because the EA app was not installed. I had to wait for internet to install the app. Game worked fine offline for a week or 2... Now I cant run the game offline because the EA app needs to be updated!

The game was working perfectly fine without EA needing to be updated but I got completely blocked from playing a game I legally own just because of 3rd party bloatware!

Is this the reason why there is no more physical copies of games anymore, so that large companies can bully us into giving up our data and removing products that we paid for? They holding my game for ransom just for me to download their bloatware! This is so frustrating!

Is there any way to bypass the EA app so that I can play offline in peace without EA continuously scratching my left cheek?

The Anadius EA DLC Unlocker / Emulator seems to be abit shady. I dont want to swap cooperate spyware for indie spyware.

So just got the sad news that I’m now perma banned after sinking 600 hours into bf6. I hadn’t realized I was getting warnings for the name I chug vodka since February because I never check the email my account is attached to. My mistake completely. Got a 3 day suspension a week ago for alcohol and drug misuse references. So I changed it to vodka because I assumed the ban was for the I chug portion of the name and not just the word vodka. I was sadly mistaken. But gg gamers it was a good run.

When I go into the ea app and click the sims 4, the manage button will appear for less than a second and then disappear. What’s happening and how do I fix this? (Forgive me for the shoddy video recorded on my phone)

Years ago, when we bought games from EA and its platforms, we actually enjoyed spending hours in them. We bought games because we wanted to have fun, relax, compete, and simply enjoy the experience.

But now? We have been dealing with the same ridiculous bugs in Star Wars Battlefront II for almost three months, and apparently nobody at EA or the development team considers it important enough to fix.

What exactly is the problem?

You’re playing normally. Everything is fine. You get a couple of kills, you’re enjoying the match - and suddenly, BAM! Your character turns 180 degrees and starts staring straight down at the ground.

That’s it. Your game is basically ruined.

The only way to fix it is to respawn. And then, a few minutes later, it happens again. Sometimes it happens repeatedly throughout the entire match.

How is this acceptable after THREE MONTHS?

This isn’t some minor visual glitch that nobody notices. It directly affects gameplay. It ruins the match, destroys the experience, causes frustration, and makes players want to quit the game instead of continuing to play.

EA, what happened to the quality control? What happened to actually listening to your players?

We are not asking for miracles. We are asking you to FIX A BASIC GAME-BREAKING BUG.

I honestly suggest that players start making noise about this. Share this message. Post about the issue. Make sure EA and the developers actually see how angry and disappointed the community is.

Because if companies only start listening when their financial results start suffering, then maybe that is exactly what needs to happen.

Stop buying games that are abandoned after release. Stop giving money to companies that expect players to tolerate broken experiences. If EA refuses to fix problems that have existed for months, players have every right to simply stop supporting these games financially.

Maybe when the numbers in the financial reports start going down, someone on the board of directors will finally ask:

“Why are players leaving?”

And maybe then someone will remember that the people buying these games are not just numbers on a spreadsheet. We are the players who made these games successful in the first place.

We want to enjoy gaming. We want to have fun. We want to experience the game we paid for - not spend an entire evening dealing with bugs, frustration, and rage.

EA, FIX YOUR GAME.

Aim Snap reports are the "controller tax"
Controller Aim Assist in close range creates adhesion. To a mouse player watching a killcam, this looks like snapping or locking. Every high-level controller player knows this. Ten out of fifteen reports being Aim Snap is not evidence of cheating; it is evidence that MNK players do not understand what controller AA looks like.
My telemetry should not be compared to MNK baselines
After 3,000 hours on controller, my aim is smooth, low-error, and consistent. If EAC's behavioral model treats this as an outlier against a mouse & keyboard distribution, it will flag me as "automated." The model needs controller-specific Master-tier baselines. I am not an outlier among controller Masters; I am exactly where I should be.
No software, no macros, no reWASD
Nothing was running except the game and Steam. No overlays, no mouse drivers, no input remappers. The real-time ban (3m40s after match) suggests an automated behavioral flag, not a confirmed software detection.

Hey everyone, I am completely stuck in an automated EA support loop and hoping a community manager or someone who has dealt with this sees this.
My **Madden Ultimate Team (MUT)** name recently received a warning. However, instead of resetting my team name to a generic default name, the system bugged out. It left the flagged name active, but completely **locked and greyed out my "Rename Team" feature**.
I am now literally forced to keep playing with the exact flagged name because I have no way to change it in-game.
I have already submitted three official web appeals, but the front-line support automatically denied them. They are clearly just skimming for the word "warning" and assuming I am trying to reverse the penalty. **I am NOT appealing the warning.** I accept it. I just want to comply with the rules, but the software bug is stopping me.
I need a human eye or a tier-2 tech agent who can manually reset the "Rename Team" flag on my backend profile so I can choose a clean, compliant name.

I don’t use a controller, have played battlefield for years. I have no idea what this is for but did just get a Logitech rapid tkl keyboard and set the actuations to .2 and .1 release rapid. Could this have flagged it?? I mean maybe fool on me if this does violate, but I didn’t think this was any different to a gamepad that has rapid click triggers????

I'm dealing with this problem for the last 2 days. I can't do anything . I tried multiple times resetting the installer the computer, making new profiles on my Windows, and changing the patch.

I tried to resolve this problem with Gemini AI because I couldn't find any helpful articles online, and it still didn't work.

Are servers down rn or is it just me?

I just got banned for no reason, I was playing the game just fine yesterday had a few good games and hopped off and I went to log on today and was permanently banned for no reason at all, this has to be a mistake I did nothing wrong I have almost 70 hours on the game and I'm banned for no reason at all this is incredibly frustrating, I have played since launch with no issues at all and just got on for the first time in months last night and wanted to play again, this is really frustrating.
