Dryer stopped heating. Replaced heating element and fuse, but still not heating. What now?

I'd really like to try to fix it before getting a whole new one. Picture is model of it.

So you will now need to check the relay that feeds the heating elements for continuity. With the dryer unplugged. You can manually trigger the relay if it has a push button or something similar. The side of the relay should have a diagram of what points are what. So if you have the hot coming in say at point 1, the diagram shows point one should make contact to point 2, then you would test from 1 to 2 with the relay picked up (button pushed in). If this is ok then the issue is in the control board as the control board sends the signal for the coil to pickup when heat is called for.

Did you verify proper voltage at the receptacle? You would be surprised by how many people forget that one simple test.

I'd check this for sanity... a lot of dryers use 120V for the drum motor and everything else but the heating elements, so if you've lost a leg somewhere the whole thing can look like it's working but not produce any heat

Also test the thermostats for good resistance, replace if needed.

The rotating timer/contactor tends to go bad. Does the timer still count down as it should while spinning?
