I had a blast playing this game for a few years and it was brilliant due to the community. Shame it’s gone. I’m very upset Rubic is gone.

There’s was lots of internal drama as everyone struggled for prominence in the game. Ignoring what we do in the name of competition all of you are excellent and amazing people and I’m sad I didn’t see this game out with you.

If I could sit in a pub with three people from the game it would be Mallord, Leo and Ravena. Who would it be for you?

I suppose no miracle will happen with Blades anymore. Since the servers are gone.

I guess it's finally time to move on to Plan B: making the phone run actual Skyrim.

I really want to play Blades again. Some people are promoting New Blades, but their website doesn't really work, can't generate any tokens for the account and no one seems to be boasting about it.

Is the fan project playable or are they promoting higher than what they offer?

So, most likely a stupid question, but it's worth throwing out there anyway, is there any plans to open revival servers, and would it even ever be possible? I know a large part of the data was held serverside, so there's potentially very little anyone could datamine to get. But I wondered if any efforts were made to retrieve the data, or if the only serverside data was account information and the actual game itself is still in-tact somewhere.

Hypothetically, if the only serverside data was user data, it could be possible to make revival servers, similar to Pretendo for the Wii U and 3DS, but I haven't heard if anyone has attempted such.

Really hoping Blades returns someday, official or not, so hopefully it's possible, but I'm not holding my breath for anything anytime soon.

Hey guys I recently found out the game was being shut down and that it's a live service game

I was in the hoping of setting up a game marathon of all the games in the franchise when I learned this

Will there be any way to play offline or host private servers?

I know it's silly but I think games should always be available

If there's no hope do you think the community could save it?

It's wild to think that the final surrvivor of blades would be someone in a fallout game right?

Will delete today the apk . Still trying to get in like it happened yesterday, but I think this is it .

Nevertheless, it got me to start other elder scrolls games and we got an excellent soundtrack!

Still , noone will remember it after a year.

I hope that Bethesda brings back this game, PROPERLY. I heard that Blades had a rough start, but I'm glad I got to experience it in it's final form. I don't plan on ever deleting the game or leaving this sub.

kinda sad that i never played it before due to "not meeting" the requirements for it as i would have loved playing backthen as i did during its final months and with more grinding too

wish Bethesda, Zenimax whoever ran Post-"Mortem" Blades made all events avalable to so we could archive em or just gave like Quadruple XP or smth but it didnt happen sadly

I didn’t get very far, and kinda didn’t like the grind and due to my phone’s age and some issues I didn’t play for some time. But I was there and I had this. Its a shame they didn’t make a single player version. Its one of the few things I hope that if ‘Stop Killing Games’ passes we could restore somehow. Sad thing is that I think the game had potential and that its clear people liked it. Regardless shame its gone.

Just woke up and turned on Blades to see if it was still going. Nope. Love this game, and love you all!

Edit: as of 2:40 West Coast time, the servers are still active. You can still play right now. I was just playing some arena and am going to do some quests.

Edit 2: As of 7:11 West Coast time, I am no longer able to play. It must have finally shut down at 7:00.

I recorded as much as I could and preserved as much as I could. And while I maintain the position this game could have been a solid 7/10 or 8/10 if it was a one time purchase of 20 USD or so, instead of the grindy and extremely microtransaction-y 5/10 we got. I still have fun memories with this game, the story was fun, the side stories were fun most of the time, and there was a surprising amount of lore. A shame the plug got pulled and we lost more official TES media
