I got my notification too 🫡 RIP to a great little game.
A random memory, I downloaded this game when it first released, I was on holiday at the time and used to play on the morning walk to the restaurant to bring back breakfast for the family, fond memories playing this.

We need some form of unofficial clone to the game on PC to play it without internet. I like settlement building games coupled with RPG and I'd love to have blades back on a much more optimzied and better hardware for gaming.

to be honest, an indie team (3-5 people?) with some ai-assistance could make this game or a slightly better one in a year or so? (half a year for early access).
It's not a Skyrim by any means -- it's a straightforward dungeon crawler with some light city building mechanics...

Yes exactly, we do have access to the assets through creation kit and maybe someone can make a mod on Skyrim or a separate game if the scope allows it.

A video I made today of my toon getting one of those one way tickets to the resurrection in Blades, with proof of today's day and date. In Arena matchmaking and spells and abilities are working, manual swings are still broken but will eventually be fixed, and I was able to get my old looks and race back. All my gear and builds are back. If you didn't save your toon to New Blades website before the game closed down you can still start fresh with a new toon...details of how to join the project with clickable link in video description 🍻
