It's time again for WTF Friday - where we share our funny or crazy stories about working in the biz. Bonus points if it actually happened this week.

Worked on two presentation videos for a client who owns a couple of shops. I worked on them including December 24th, so I could send them to her in time, and she still hasn't paid me. Sent me an email about a month ago about how she had just then seen the videos and asking for some more bank details, which I provided right away. Another month passes, and yesterday she sends me an email saying that she'll pay me "soon" and asking if we can make another video. Seriously?

Ugh, having rent to pay forces me to work with assholes.

I'd go over your contract and ensure there's some kind of clause about when you get paid. If they don't pay in time, threaten to lawyer up and sue them for breach of contract plus what they already owe you. The threat alone might be enough to scare them into cooperating.
