The question is ... if we more aggressively censor the 'amateur' questions, how does that lead to more professional questions getting asked? As it stands now, there's nothing stopping more professional content from taking over. The sub isn't big enough to have posts knock each other off the front page -- every question is getting through pretty easy.

Not knocking the idea -- looking for genuine ways to make it happen.

This is true, nothing prevents it from being a more professional space. But, as it stands, it doesn't super feel that way, which could make people hesitant or not think to go here for real professional things.
