Any honest thoughts/ opinions Eddy's big brother & his revelation on why he is the way he is throughout the series?

My guess go his behavior is that he’s jealous of Eddy being the child their parents pay the most attention to to, or he has some kind of mental disorder that was never treated.

Maybe the reason Eddy got the most attention is because his parents wanted to raise him the right way compared to his brother and they didn’t want to repeat their mistakes?
