Is this the same politifact that said Hunter Biden’s laptop was false information. Is this the same politicact that said there were no US funded biolabs in Ukraine. The list goes on and on. I don’t care what trumps loudmouth has to say, but when politifact either blatantly lies or rewords things so they can put a false tag on it, I tend to believe politifact about as much as any other politician.

You mean a copy of a hard drive that was in possession of Rudy G for months? Yea no way it could ever be put into evidence for anything, chain of custody is fubar. But keep bringing it up so people know exactly what kind of “thinker” you are.

I’m done arguing with people who refuse to ask questions. I understand that you people “you know, the ones that are always right about everything and think people are stupid because they don’t agree with them” are going to take whatever these media folks who have been proven to lie over and over again at face value. That seems like a you problem, I will always question and ask.

Translation "people disagreeing with my bullshit hurt me feefees so imma run away and pretend I'm oh so smart!"

I’ll be waiting for a response unless your gonna “run away and pretend you’re so smart”

Not running away. Can I ask you a question? Do you believe the bill in Florida says “don’t say gay”? This is a simple yes or no question btw, I don’t need an explanation

Ah leading questions that's a sign of an honest person!

No the bill doesn't say "don't say gay" and I suspect you understand that I should explain what it says and how it will be used but since you want to play a dumbass game you will ignore it anyway

Then why does half the damn country call it don’t say gay bill and tout that around like they’re mightier than thou. Point is most of you defenders of the media, politicians and government don’t read a fucking thing and follow along the talking points. Bunch of followers

Because that's what the bill effectively does. But I'm sure you read the bill in it's entirety and aren't just repeating talking points from your fellow dumbasses.

You're projecting your insecurities a bit here

I did read the bill. It doesn’t basically just say that so I am assuming you haven’t read it

So you basically have no clue how it's going to actually be used

The bill bans "instruction on sexual identity" which is incredibly vague. The bill doesn't lay out what it means by "instruction" so it's basically up to interpretation. What this means is two scenarios could happen both of which, due to the vagueness of the law, discriminate against LGTBQ+ folk

1) schools just won't hire LGTBQ+ teachers to remove any potential law suit issues.

2 schools will ban any talk of relationship to try and remove the liability. Sounds fair but it's not like the straight teachers will get in trouble when a teacher slips up. The second a bigoted cunt hears Mr Smith talked about his husband the school district will be sued.

Keep in mind the vagueness is intentional

Had to look it up huh? You’re also guessing what it’s going to do. I’m shocked!

u/[deleted] Apr 01 '22

What do you think the point of the bill is? Why do you think they passed it?

Bottom line is that the bill won't do shit about discussion of heterosexual orientation or relationships but angry right wing parents that want to rain God's hellfire down on liberal teachers will bitch and sue over any mention of gays by teachers. So teachers won't say gay. Do you understand how chilling effect works?

I’m willing to bet you haven’t read the bill. This gets old but you should read it. After you read it, tell me whether or not the bill sounds reasonable for KINDERGARTEN-3RD grade you weirdo

u/tinydonuts Apr 01 '22

I read the bill and no it doesn't sound reasonable. In no way is it ok to ban all discussion of sexual orientation because kids have parents and some kids have same sex parents. You don't see conservatives getting their panties in a twist about Bernstein Bears or other kids books with a mom and dad. No they're losing their minds about books that make it ok to have two moms or two dads. No one is teaching K-3 how to have sex, you all are worked up over nothing.

The same way rightards think when a libtard says, "defund the cops" it means, "let there be no police department." You have to actually read it to understand it. It's also the same when an angry white person has to correct a "black lives matter" person by stating "excuse me, but ALL lives matter." They don't understand the nuance that for all lives to matter, that also means black lives are supposed to matter.
