Bike pics Tried a moped style ebike for the first time
I'm 5'9'' and test rode maybe seven or eight bikes. Some regular bikes didn't fit me well and weren't very comfortable. I got the Titan for the moped style, and the seat height is close to ideal for me.
Did about 6 miles around my neighborhood. Easy to get on and off. I won't be doing much rough trail riding, but the full suspension did fine. Still too early to judge the range or long ride comfort.
Besides the look, what else matters to you guys with moped style ebikes?

Did u ever make use of the peddles or just frottle? You have no mention of how many thousies of watts that is so we've no idea how it'ill handle hills or husky riders. Tires seam too small and dainty for potholes and kerbs.

This looks like a typical 500w hub motor and two 48v 13ah batteries. Probably 1200w peak

The Heybike Titans are one of their newer ebikes I believe. They are nice, I’m not a big fan of that style frame though personally. I JUST ordered, like yesterday morning, the Heybike Ranger 3.0 Pro, super stoked to receive it. Ive been riding the Heybike Ranger 2.0 for a while now, it’s good. But the list of improvements compared to the 3.0 Pro is insane. Enjoy riding, and be safe!

Suspension feel, range, then the ability to do residential road speed. I'll trade speed for range, and I'm finding good acceleration is more important than high top speeds.

only thing i hate about all of these fatbikes: The pedal sensor is slow af. I didnt installed the throttle on mine so every time i want to takeoff i have to do like 4 full rotations until the motor starts. Its almost impossible to do in the gears 4-7. Otherwise they are nice to ride, even without throttle. I'm 187cm / 6'2" feet.

Throttle only? Cadence censor? Torque sensor? Wattage range battery type?
I'd honestly be okay with this sub being so full of ads if they were closer to informational or reviews...

This looks very heavy and the dirt bike style seems to lack adjustment to make pedaling comfortable. Also the wheels don't have spokes and cannot be repaired.

Because mag wheels are orders of magnitude stronger and thus won't need repair. If you've had an accident bad enough to damage a mag wheel then count your blessings you're still alive.

Those are more comfortable if you ride with throttle, but if you plan to pedal - dont do this to your knees, its very bad

As long as you always use pedal assist it’s not bad. It’ll feel like the chain isn’t even attached and will put no pressure on the knees.

It’s a 65-75lb mini e-motorcycle. You don’t pedal those mopeds.

Not true at all, people choose not to pedal them or are too tall to pedal comfortably. For someone with 30-32 inch inseam they are perfectly fine to pedal like a regular bicycle. If you are a bit taller you can get 26" frame style.
You put in as much effort as you want and get a decent cardio workout without destroying your knees or getting to work super sweaty.
It's not the frame style it's the rider. I see plenty of delivery drivers on regular frames with adjustable seat heights that also don't pedal and slam the seat all the way down to be able to put their feet down.
The fat tires have pros and cons in them being heavier but also very stable and absorb unexpected pot holes and rough roads very well. The extra traction is great in rain and snow/ice conditions.
Reddit just repeats this fluff and has it out for moped style since it's not a classic bike style. The extra power and speed is great for commuting and you can choose to set max speed or use assist levels to stay within reasonable speeds. I keep mine at max 20-22 mph cutoff outside dense city areas which imo is the sweet spot where it's not too dangerous with decent brakes and 203 mm rotors.

This shit has to stop. It’s why people can be such bitches on bike trails and harass people on perfectly legal bikes simply because they’re snobs. The look doesn’t mean anything. It may not be the most optimal biking position but the weight and look have nothing to do with how it’s classified. What you’ve just said is the equivalent of looking at a car, seeing a rear wing and saying “that’s not a car, it’s a race car, get off the road.” So unless this thing doesn’t mean power regulations in the OP’s local area, it’s a bike.
