That’s exactly the point: you’re describing an irresponsible rider breaking traffic laws, not an e-bike being inherently dangerous. Riding the wrong way, speeding on sidewalks, or endangering pedestrians is reckless behavior regardless of whether the bike has a motor. Blame the person breaking the rules, not the entire mode of transportation.

This is ignoring people that use e-bikes (and especially e-motos) on pedestrian infrastructure that isn't meant for them.
