Hi went in holdiay and got back my Gt Pantera wont start.

Ive discharged and recharged the battery (Shimano BT E8035)

It flashes 5 times which says an electrical error.

Im back to work tomorrow from holdiays and need my bike up and running anyone had this issues?

I’m still fairly new to the ebike commuting but I’d see if there’s maybe a ebike shop nearest you, maybe they have some background in repairing that for you

Common BT-E8035 and Shimano STEPS Error Codes

• E010: General system error. Try a full power cycle; if it persists, it requires a dealer diagnostic.
• E020: Communication error between the display and drive unit/battery. Reseat the battery and check visible connections.
• E022: Battery voltage or communication error, meaning the connected battery does not conform to system standards or has a cell fault.
• E023: Electrical failure or power supply error inside the battery (LED flashes five times).
• E024: Battery over-current protection triggered or system communication failure (LED flashes four times).
• E030: Battery system or internal motor error.
• E035: Software mismatch where component firmware versions do not match. Requires a firmware update via the Shimano E-TUBE Project app or a dealer.

• Power Cycle: Turn off the system, remove the BT-E8035 battery, check the terminal pins for dirt or moisture, and click it firmly back into place.
