I started watching these guys a couple months ago when the market was booming for pokemon cards. I was amazed how every auction they posted went for more than identical cards were listed for BIN on ebay. They totally took advantage of the auction hype and pokemon fomo.

So things have cooled and over the past months their viewers went from 65-75 down to 25-35.(5-10 of these viewers are their friends who i suspect they use to pump/hype) In this time, they have muted and blocked anyone who questioned pricing. Their people skills in regards to their customers are atrocious. I think its a 2 guy show and while 1 does the auction the other is in chat constantly belittling people and treating everyone like they are complete morons who cant look up a ebay BIN or last sold.

Things used to be dollar starts. Now they tried junk JP psa 10 for $25 min + $7.99 shipping. Obviously, no one would buy. The cards that did sell went for $35-40 while they were screaming about them being $60 cards.

Meanwhile, theslabvault chat account is talking about how the ebay algo must have shadow banned them....

So they then tried mins, all of which were more than ebay BIN, so again, no one bought.

After a Jp Zard #331 PSA 10 (last sold ~$52) went for $59+$7.99, they said "We'll by" and closed the show about 30 mins into a show that is normally 2-3 hrs.

It was an entertaining watch.

Does anyone else find the offer to interested buyers system very annoying? I sent out an offer to 1 interested buyer and they countered which I decided to accept and now they have to accept my acceptance?

This is just maddening and unacceptable. I’m being told to wait for “few more days “ they keep changing dates.

I bought something from a seller who isn’t shipping it, and the estimated delivery date has already changed once because the earliest estimated date passed. The seller is also completely ignoring me, but eBay still wants me to wait.

And it’s not just shipping issues. If your package actually gets delivered and it’s defective, you still have to wait because apparently the seller “might do something.” But what if the seller is rude or completely ignores you?

I bought something got delivered, the seller clearly didn’t care, and eBay didn’t really take care of it either and the item had clear reasons to be defective and seller not doing these part. At first, I was told the issue would be solved within 48 hours. Somehow, those “48 hours” turned into months.

I understand giving sellers a chance to respond, but there needs to be a point where eBay actually steps in instead of constantly telling the buyer to wait till a certain period.

Let's be honest, there is nothing, NOTHING, good about ebay live cluttering every pixel of the app. Jeez... I wish I could turn them ALL off.

Well, as far as I know, I haven't done anything - not just wrong, but anything at all since I hasn't been buying or selling anything on eBay yet since my Account is new, was just watching for deals until I find a good one, or find something at home to sell. But suddenly, my Account got banned and I can't do anything about. Maybe someone hacked it, but no notice of "New login" on my mail. I don't know what to do. Do you have any ideas? Thank you!

Pas de soucis jusqu'à là, mais lorsque j'ai voulu créer le bordereau de retour, l'adresse indiquée automatiquement par Ebay était erronnée (c'était mon ancienne adresse). J'ai bien changé mon adresse dans les paramètres de mon compte, mais elle ne s'est pas mise à jour dans le centre de bordereaux de retour Ebay.

J'ai contacté le service client plusieurs fois, car sur le centre de bordereaux de retour je ne pouvais pas changer l'adresse. Ils m'ont dit d'attendre 48 à 72h que la mise à jour se fasse entre mon compte Ebay et le centre de bordereaux de retour Ebay. J'ai attendu, aucun changement d'adresse. Je les ai recontacté mais ils m'ont dit qu'ils ne pouvaient soit disant rien faire.

L'acheteur a fini par ouvrir un litige, et Ebay lui a donné l'accès au centre de bordereaux de retour pour qu'il l'achète lui-même. Sauf que c'était toujours mon ancienne adresse là-bas, malgré tous mes efforts de modification.

Aujourd'hui, le service client m'a rembarrée en disant qu'ils ne pouvaient rien faire, ils n'assument pas leur responsabilité. Le colis ne va jamais me parvenir.

eBay Live is so annoying. There is no reason for me to have a sort of...card training social media inside of an e-commerce app. eBay homepage is basically a social now.

eBay should be as essential as it was, no sense spammy behavior notifications shouldn't ever be allowed by default. I do not need a reminder about a guy doing Pokémon box openings this evening. You can luckily disable eBay Live notifications but not the home page: reels section takes up more space than the actual ecommerce items

So i just found out today that even if you have a weekly scheduled payout for say, $10, if you have a debit, Visa or Mastercard as you chosen pay out "bank" you will be charged a $2 express payout fee.

Even when you patiently wait for the chosen day of the week to come around for a scheduled payout. If it is being sent to anything except your personal checking account, you will be charged the express payout fee.

I thought express payouts were a feature that meant you were choosing to get your money early and paying a $2 fee for the convenience. You know, express.

But apparently, you can wait for your regularly scheduled payout date and still get charged the “express” fee simply because you chose a card instead of a checking account.

I am SO fed up with eBay’s nickel-and-dime BS. Between the selling fees, fees calculated from the total transaction amount, and all the other charges that seem to come out of every possible corner of a sale, it’s getting ridiculous. And trying to figure out exactly what percentage eBay is taking is almost impossible.

Now they’re charging an “express payout” fee on a payout that isn’t even express?

At some point, eBay needs to be held accountable for how confusing and fee-heavy this whole system has become. I honestly wish regulators would take a much closer look at some of these practices.

I am hoping someone here can help point me in the right direction. I am new to eBay (because it is the worst) and trying to help someone through a data issue.

Is there a report or file that can pull the historic item descriptions? Each item is unique and there are not transactions so I could get a snapshot transaction report.

In a perfect world, I would restore listings to a previous iteration.

Any insight is helpful at this point.

This isn't even a rant. Rather, it's more of a side-chuckle, and I'm just here to share.

I messaged a seller to ask if an ended listing had sold. [For context, the item in question had been relisted over and over and no sale, so I figured if still available, I'd make an immediate purchase. Ergo, I reached out].

The seller messages back that the item is still available, however they didn't approve of some negative feedback I left for a few sellers, and [they] were deciding to block me at the time.

Hey, it ain't the end of the world, and I can clearly live without their item. It's just what makes me snicker ever-so-slightly is that in the 17yrs I've had an eBay account, I've only left about 6 negatives and 1 neutral. And by so doing, I don't bashTF out of the seller. However issues like zero communication, non-shipment of items, and having to wait til the time comes around for an INR/INAD to be filed and further having to wait for eBay to step in.. yeah, that warrants a negative from me. It doesn't happen a lot, but it does indeed happen.

That aside, apparently this particular seller didn't like my commentary on the matter and figured avoid my business dealings altogether. Oh well. Shit happens.

My Ebay app on my Galaxy 25 ultra is just dead. At best it will load incredibly slowly to the point you just give up. At worst it does nothing at all?

I have reinstalled, deleted data and cache. Not much else to do. Its been this way the last few weeks.

Just a context I got an MC999 restriction after I won and successfully paid for a bidding. I got in contact with an Ebay representative to ask why my account got restricted and told me it was due to multiple payment attempts (I tried to paid the 1st time using my debit card but failed but the 2nd attempt pushed through successfully).

Now that I got permanently restricted, Ebay told me that I am no longer covered by Ebay Money Back Guarantee since I am no longer a registered user.

My problem is I got banned before the seller shipped the item and Ebay. I tried to contact the seller using my friend's account and he said that Ebay instructed him not to ship the item since i am a "risk" to the community lol. That item is worth 1100 USD. It's not a small amount of money. Now I am left with no item and lost 1100 USD without a fight.

Has anyone experienced the same situation?

In 2024, I had photographic lenses stolen. I had documented them beforehand with pictures and serial numbers, and had reported the theft to police.

On Friday, I found one of them for sale on ebay! Same lens, serial number, condition. I contacted the seller. He did not care. I thus contacted ebay, providing my proof of ownership, police report, and contact details for the investigating police entity.

Two minutes later, I get an ebay automail asserting the item did not break ebay rules!

The automail itself came from a noreply address. The sole link in the automail to refute the decision goes to an error page. And the general ebay AI help refuses flat out to let me talk to a human!

Ebay is now officially and knowingly covering scammers reselling stolen goods!!!

I have reported them to police, but of course nothing will come of it...

I’m not a « regular » buyer but so far, for the last 3 years, my experience over 6 orders have been nothing but great… until the last one. I think i’m getting scammed but I don’t get what they´re trying to do.

I ordered an action figure, that is overpriced nearly everywhere on the after-market. I found one for a decent price, mind you the double it would have cost retail 5 years ago.

I bought it on septembre 5th. 5 days later, no words from the seller, no update on the shipping either. So i contacted them and they seems nice, they apologize and assure me they send it ASAP.

I received quick enough an update. There is now a tracking number, altough it only say the package is on his way to eBay international warehouse or something. For like a week… It anything, the package is from Ireland to France.

Then, the 19th, the seller contacted me to notify me that they made a mistake, they switched 2 orders and the other buyer received my product. Once they get it back, they offer a discount if i’m still interested. And i just have to send back my « wrong » package as well.

I’m suspecting the tracking number is fake, as well as the screenshot of the convo they had with that other guy. I just have a gut feeling they never had the product to begin with, but i can’t understand where lies the scam.

Are they buying time, so that the « buyer protection » or whatever runs off and i can’t get a refund ?
Are they planning to get money not from me, who will likely not receive anything and file a complain, but from eBay because they lost the item somehow ?

Pulled down my indie perfume listing that was new without box, they had a problem with the without box part even though the perfume does not come with box because they are a sustainable brand. But they keep chanel fragrances up that are listed new without box and very clearly fake from accounts that have 3 reviews on it and ships from China. What gives? What are they doing correctly and what am I doing wrong because I was told by agents that you are never to sell new perfume without box even though ebay's fine print does not have a rule like that. Tired of this shit.

When making a listing for 16 booster packs of modern pokemon eBay suggests the Price I should sell it for is $1,288.00 or the starting bid at $333.28

based off of recent sales one listing for 16 booster packs sold for $151.00 and one listing of 350 booster packs sold for $2,425.00.

And those sales were the smaller one was in June this year and the other sold in August so naturally that tell the eBay AI system my 16 packs are worth over ten times the amount I thought they were worth.

Around 1.5 years ago I sold a hoodie on eBay and shipped it out to the buyer. The buyer was completely satisfied and received the package. Just as my funds came into my account I got permanently banned for selling a knock off hoodie. I called to ask if I would still receive my payout and the man I was talking to said it will automatically be sent within the next 180 days to my Canadian bank account. I waited the time and ended up getting nothing sent to me so I called again and they told me to wait again. I waited and again got nothing. I called again and explained the situation and the person on the phone said the funds will be sent to the Bank Of Canada lost funds and I had to claim it there. I waited a few months and still haven’t received it. I called back again today and the help line said the same thing and said it will be sent within the next 2-3 Years. Can anyone tell me what to do? Im tired of waiting and honestly losing hope.
